A little while ago, there was a thread about the political leanings of Bulbagarden in general. The consensus was that it was fairly liberal, but that wasn't good enough for me. Therefore, I'm making a political poll that includes a few more choices then Liberal and Conservative since most of us (hopefully) realize that it's a little more complex then left and right.

Libertarian. I think for Europeans that would be considered a liberal though, America uses different political definitions from Europe.

I voted Liberal, though in reality I am a mix of Liberal, Anarchist, Socialist, and Environmentalist.

Someone else voted anarchist? I'm a little bit surprised.

I expected someone to vote fascist at least as a joke, and I'm glad someone did. I'm a little bit surprised that it came this early. People can be very predictable.

I have none. As George Washington once said, "Political separations will divide this country."

Yes, a one party system is much better. That's why the Soviet Union is still around and the United States have collapsed. Oh wait.

That wasn't the point of Washington's ideal. The point was for no political parties. He didn't want groups of people to compete over what was right for America. He wanted people to vote for their government regardless of party.

I suppose I identify as a social democrat. I'm right on the lime between socialism and liberalism. I'm also a bit if a feminist. And I'm very environmental. And very bad at making decisions, so not voting.

Problem: People can easily be multiples of these at the same time. For instance, although I voted Liberal, I also consider myself an environmentalist.

TheMissingno.: What are you, retarded? Feminism and environmentalism aren't political affiliations in the same way liberal and conservative are. Jeez.

Although Feminism is'nt a political party, I'm one. And not the sterotypical type either.

If people were perfect, communism would be the best.

I chose conservative.

Liberal in socio-political ideals and values, conservative in application and practice, leading to a fairly centrist view on the whole.

Meaning I think long-term, society needs to move toward allowing people more rights, and fewer restrictions (eg, Live and let Live) ; and toward ensuring everyone has a fair chance at life, given their genetic capacity and inclinations (eg, making education and healthcare accessible), but that such ideals should be moved toward in a slow, gradual manner, with the ultimate objective being to keep society working and avoid needless "culture wars" and the ilk that only translates into big trouble. I don't think much good of sudden, rapid revolutions.

(Though they are, sometime, the lesser evil. The Civil War was, for example, preferable to continued tolerance of slavery).

QFT.

Anyway, I voted as liberal.

ib4 someone whines about the forum leaning towards liberal and not conservative (so far).
