I have done this at another site, so I will do it here: What genre of music do you associate with the color pink?

I would definitely say smooth jazz, since smooth jazz has a nice calming feeling like the color pink.
 
Pop, thanks to the term bubblegum pop.
 
Glam Punk = neon pink
Bubblegum Pop = powder pink

Pink is a character color. So I pick these 2 genres with strong characters.
 
Pop music.

Just look at certain types of music videos, with girls and pink stuff.
 
Teen/ tween pop. Eg Justin bieber, Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers. The sort of singers that tween/ early teen girls in particular go silly over.

What about Adult Pop music, such as Michael Jackson? Pop music ecompasses much more than modern bubblegum.

I don't associate smooth jazz with pink due to the color being feminine (which I disagree with), but with the fact that the color has a calming effect just like smooth jazz.
 
Electro or Punk, but thinking a little harder I think of Hip Hop as well. For Pop, I don't know what I think of, probably White or Gray to be honest.
 
im sure other music can match with this color but pink is more a bright upbeat fun color which pop music would probably be the main, i see some people saying jazz as pink but i think thats way off jazz is more purple or mixture of blue. which would be the same for r&b purple and blue.

No brainer, it's pop music. Idk where you ppl are getting smooth jazz as pink since pink is not a calming color. It's high energy and a warm color, if you want a calming color you go with the cool color spectrum like blues, greens, and purples. imho I associate smooth jazz with a kind of indigo.

Probably pop, cuz it's mostly buzzy and annoying.

And I agree with @yourlilemogirl about jazz and pink. No, no, no...
If I had to associate a color with jazz it'd be something like a soothing dark-blue or purple.
 
Depends on what kind of Pink. If it's hot pink, I'd probably associate it with mainstream pop (or maybe queercore - yes, that's an actual genre, I'm not trying to be prejudiced here). If it was a hazy, pale sort of pink, I'd probably associate it with something in the vein of the Flaming Lips - dreamy and hazy and whatnot. I might also associate it with shoegaze, although that could just be because of the Big Pink.
