There are many examples of foul-smelling Pokémon, however, which one do you think is the worst smelling of all?

I would probably say Muk, considering it stank through Ash's
Poké Ball.

Don't they say something about how Gloom can make you pass out? That has to be a bad stink.

Besides, it's based off of the raflesia, which is just an awful, awful scent

Gloom only stink to intruders it doesnt stink to people it trusts, thats what the episode with ericas's gloom said.

er...probably Gloom, as it's a defence mechanism, so it obviously has to be made to be powerful, unlike Muk, which just stinks generally.

Well, I wouldnt know. I didnt go into a Portal to a Diverse Pokemon World Franchise to sniff random foul Pokemon. I might go later, though.

I think that any pokemon with Stench as ability is really malodorous. But skuntank(It`s obviously a skunk) is the worst-smelling out of the rest.

Gotta be Gloom or Vileplume. Not only would they smell bad, but they'd probably paralyze you while you try to determine just how bad they smell.

Skuntank for sure. I know people who where sprayed by a skunk and that stink stays with you for a while. I'd imagine in skuntank's case that smell is far worse in comparison to a real skunk.

Well, they use sludge-based attacks. I always thought they were Gen III's equivalent to Grimer and Muk.
Even though they are the equivalents of those piles of sludge, none of their Dex entries explains them having an awful smell. Plus they don't even have the ability "Stench". Also, them using sludge-based attacks doesn't explain anything about them being smelly. Other pokemon who don't have a bad smell can use those attacks as well. The Wooper line can learn Sludge bomb and they are not smelly.

Well, Vileplume doesn't have the Stench ability, however, Dark Vileplume's TCG entry mentions the smell of its pollen drives away other Pokémon. After all, why would Vileplume be called VILEplume if it smells good? Also, Vileplume is based off a Rafflesia flower, which is infamous for its stench.
