Miki panted after the long hike, made longer by the gear the team as a whole carried. "Finally we're here!" she said as the trio reached the entrence to the Forgotten Forest. The place was just spooky, dark, overgrown, and a thick fog covering its entire area. "Sure is spooky."

Sally nodded. "Yeah." she said, but looked unconcerned, more concerned with her fur standing up from the moisture in the air. "Dang fog! Messing up my fur!"

Sora face palmed. "Come on guys! It's just fog! I mean really!" she said, growling and trying to run into the woods, only for Miki and Sally to hold her back. "Hey! What are you doing?!"

"We need to stick togather!" said Miki. "Let's start..." she said, leading the others into the dark woods with their gear. Their were signs leading them along the path. "Well that's a good thing, we're not left completely alone to find our way." she said, continuing down the path.

Team Golgotha was also on the long hike, albeit far behind Miki and her team. Krol was trying to encourage Rycerz, who was growing both weary and irritated, while Signore was simply scanning the perimeter to make sure if any evil was afoot.

"I think we're almost there..." Krol began before Rycerz cut him off.

"Idiot, we've been on this hike for hours! I swear, if there isn't anything at the end of this, I'll-"

"You'll do nothing of the sort, Rycerz," Krol said sharply. "We received an invitation, and I don't believe the sender would lure us into a trap."

"Sure...blind freakin' faith..." Rycerz mumbled under his breath.

Signore opened his eyes. "I don't sense any malevolence in the area, and excluding a group of people who are heading in the same direction as us, I believe I sense others. Others free of malice. This is not a trap."

Rycerz continued to grumble, and Krol simply sighed and shook his head as they made their way through the forest...

Cindi gazed into the forest, there was an arrow that pointed into it, where the game was going to be played. "All right, lets go" she said and walked in, following the path.

Devon started in after her, he wasn't afraid of a little old Ghost pokemon. He had seen far scarier then a spooky forest. "So whats the deal with this thing anyway?" he asked.

"After Cindi got reunited with her father, she was sent an invitation by him to the forest." said Tetra who was bounding after them both. "It is supposed to be a treasure hunt but with a scary theme to it. You were there when we got the invitation, how come you don't remember?"

"I think the Slowking next door used Amnesia on me after I knocked down him mailbox again." said Devon snickering.

Banette was hidden in the trees, watching the groups come in. When he saw Cindi's team he was overjoyed. He wanted to spend as much time as he could with her, afterall, he was her father, he had died a hour before she was born, and he had met her for the first time a month ago. He hopped through the trees silently and unseen, keeping a watchful eye on everyone who was in the forest.

OOC: Okay, so I think I'll experiment around for a little and make it a first-person post from Cole.

Gold, my brother, and I trekked the long hike to the forest, both of us pale and sweating from the long day's travel. Although, I guess it took a bit of the load off with aura and psychic powers. My older brother and I together had more than enough psychic energy to make the tent float behind us somewhat ominoiusly.

"How much longer od you think we have?" I asked Gold as we reached the top of a particularly steep hill.

"Not much anymore," Gold replied. "If you look closely from up here, you can see the forest."

It wasn't as much a matter of finding the forest as seeing the actual trees through the fog.

"Man, I wish we had brought Starria with us," I said (Starria's my best friend, a female Staravia).

"Yeah, her Defog would really come in handy right here," Gold said. "But, we'll have to keep moving anyways."

"I guess," I agreed, and we headed down the hill. I'll admit I tripped and fell a couple times, but I always managed to get back on my feet before I hit the steepest part.

Eventually we reached the deepest fog, where you could literally only see about two feet in front of yourself.

"I hope this is the thickest it gets," I said, groping around blindly, then had an idea. "Wait a minute, why are we using my normal vision?"

Gold and I both switched to seeing aura, and the fog seemed to disappear. I could see the outlines of the rocks and trees colored in with a very pale grey color, because they weren't living things. Meanwhile, my own body and Gold's body were both a golden color, showing our auras. We both headed down the path, which we could now see. Eventually the fog let up a bit and signs began to point the path out. I noticed a Bannete hiding among the trees, but dismissed it as just another Ghost living in the forest.

"We don't need any signs," I said, and eventually we met up with a few Pokemon that looked like they were part of a Rescue Team. There was a Stunky, a Glameow, and a Pidgey, and they were all heading along the same path.

"Hello," I said, though I wasn't sure if they would be able to see Gold and I. "Are you heading to meet Polteon, too?" I figured if they were I'd have already made some friends by the time we got to Polteon.

Nigma woke up in the middle of the forest "Uh.. Guys?" Nigma asked Kain and Zane.

"Yeah?" Zane answered as he woke up.

"Which way did we in through the forest?" Nigma asked.

"YOU MEAN YOU THINK WE'RE LOST!!?!!" Zane asked in rage "Maybe this was a bad idea......." Zane facepalmed himself as Kain got up.

"*Yawn*....... Wanna find Polteon, Nigma?" Kain asked.

"That sounds like a good idea." Nigma smiled "Come on, Zane, it will be fun!!" Nigma and Kain ran off.

"H-Hey!!" Zane ran after them "Wait up you two!!"

Team Exaltant walked down a path, surrounded by lush plantlife and chirping bird Pokémon. A Dratini with a multicolored pendant led the way, laughing merrily at something the Mawile had just said. The Mawile in question was laughing as well, a spoon in her grip. The Wooper rolled his eyes at the two, though he let out a couple of chuckles as well.

"So, when do you think we're gonna get to meet this... Polteon?" Viviana asked the others, a bright smile on her face. The Wooper sighed and rolled his eyes yet again at the Dratini's impatience, something that seemed to be plentiful around here.

"Obviously not now. I would say much, much later on." Yawl replied dryly, looking around. The bright forest had suddenly turned dark, their path suddenly disappearing. Cheena, taking a look around as well, decided to take charge of the situation.

"How about we go a little further, and then I whip us up something to eat?" Cheena suggested, waving her spoon around. Yawl and Viviana nodded in agreement, both okay with that.

"So then... upwards and onwards!" Viviana cried, slithering faster. Cheena laughed and followed the hyperactive Dratini, Yawl lumbering after awkwardly.

Team Golgotha saw another group in front of them. Another rescue team, consisting of a Mawile, a Wooper, and a Dratina with an odd pendant. The team walked up to them, and Krol was the first one to speak. Seeing that they would eventually end up being in the same residence as them for quite a while, it would help if they became acquainted.

"Greetings, fellow Rescue Team. You wouldn't happen to know how far we are from our destination? A particular member of my team-" he glared at Rycerz pointedly. "-was wondering how much longer we would have to hike."

Banette jumped from his hiding place. "Follow the signs and in 10 minutes you will be where you need to be." he said, his mouth slowly unzipping with every word. He cackled at the moon and disappeared in a flash of darkness.

Krol was startled by Banette's sudden appearance, and Rycerz actually lunged at Banette right before he disappeared. They both turned to Signore.

"Why didn't you tell us he was spying on us?" Krol said.

"I did, I just didn't feel like telling you," Signore said with a smug look.

"Come here, ya little-" Rycerz said, walking toward Signore, but was blown back by a Psychic attack from the Bronzong.

"You would do well to control your anger in the recent future, Rycerz," Signore said as Rycerz got up.

Upon getting no response, I faded back into the fog away from the three Pokemon and continued ahead, towards Polteon. Our eerily glowing tent floated along behind us.

"Man," Gold said. "This sure is a long hike through the forest."

"Tell me about it," I said, "I hpoe it's not too much longer. My legs are killing me."

Eventually we came across an angry Beedril, and I realized that I'd absentmindedly thrown a rock.

The rock must've hit a Beedrill nest, I thought. Good thing the mist is so powerful that it won't be able to see us.

Miki blinked. "Oh wait!" she said, heading back to the two. "Sorry, we got a little absent minded there.

Sora chuckled. "Hi, I'm Sora, this is Miki." she said, hoping they wouldn't insult Miki for her stench, if they didn, they'd be in trouble.

"I'm Sally." said Sally. "Man I hate this fog, it's messing my fur up something aweful."

Team Electric Storm, watched the others meet.

"Think we should join 'em?" Volt questions.

"Why shouldn't we, they seem nice enough." Shock replies.

"Well, okay." Volt says unhappily stepping out of the bus and into the others.

Synthesis and Char slowly climbed up the misty hill. In the distance, they could hear others talking. Synthesis looked at Char, and said "I think we should go to where we hear other Pokémon. The mist is do deep here that we can't see nearly enough.

Char agreed by saying "Definitely. I wouldn't want to get lost in this strange forest. It spooks me."

Synthesis rolled is eyes, and began navigating through the forest. "I think the others are right over these trees.." he thought. He pushed his way through, and saw that his assumption was correct.

"C'mon guys! We're almost there!"said Reena while running up the hill.

"There's someone in the distance..." thought Aero while gliding torwards Reena.

The two gazed at the distant horizon, quietly taking it all in...the silence was only broken
by Blaze's yelling.

"Echo! Echo,echo..." "Hey guys I can hear someone in the forest!" yelled Blaze with excitement.

"That's just you..." sighed Aero.

"Let's go in..." whispered Reena quietly while gazing ahead.

"Oh, hi," I said, turning back to the three. "I'm Cole, and this is my brother, Gold."

"How're you doing?" Gold said politely.

Dale, Byori, and Fin all were running through the forest, goggles on their face to show the path of ghosts and also to see in the night, though Dale already could. While running at top speed the rescue group entered the forest before plowing into another groups floating tent. Somehow in the fumbling around in the tent the door got zipped up and their goggles got turned off. Now it was foggy and dark and they couldn't find the door.

"Guyth whaftrs tre gonfa dor?" said Fin around a mouthful of cookies.

"Please swallow before you talk fin it's disgusting and unintelligible." remarked Byori.

"Well I think we should find a way out of this tent before we can do anything." answered Dale.

"Glad you meet you." said Miki, a little shyly. "We're doing alright, except Sally's fur, but what will you do?"

Sora looked and saw a sign. "Look."

"Continue to the clearing ahead and set up camp, the hostess will be with you shortly."

Team Golgotha suddenly found themselves with many other Rescue Teams.

"Are we the only ones here that aren't a bunch of wimps?" Rycerz grumbled to himself.

"Quiet," Krol shot back before deciding to introduce themselves to the groups.

"Greetings, fellow Rescue Teams. We are Team Golgotha, and I am Krol, leader and founder of our team. This is Signore, our strategist-" he said, and the Bronzong gave a single nod. "-and this is Rycerz, our combat specialist."

Rycerz continued to mutter under his breath.

"As you can tell-" Krol said in a lowered tone. "-he's not very happy about this long hike."

Krol saw the sign. "Well, let's continue onwards, in that case!"

The team rushed ahead, and eventually found themselves in a clearing that the fog had not yet penetrated.

"How much do ya wanna bet this is gonna be an ambush..." Rycerz muttered as Krol got out their tent.

Nigma and Kain found a clearing "Let's rest here for a bit *Yawn*" Nigma suggested.

"Sure..." Kain sat down and fell asleep as he fell on his side.

"I'M GONNA-" Zane stopped in the clearing "........ I have been CHASING you two all day!!!" Zane shouted "WOULD YOU BE KIND ENOUGH TO SET CAMP UP FOR ME!!!"

"Zane......" Nigma turned to Zane.

"Yeah?" Zane was steamed.

".....Could you set up camp?" Nigma said with a smile.

"......GGGGGGGRRRRRRRAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" Zane shouted sweared for five hours while set camp up

5 hours later....

"Thanks Zane." Nigma smiled "Could you get the fire wood now?"

"...........FINE!!!!" Zane stormed off and got some fire wood and threw to the ground THERES YOUR FIREWOOD!!!!!" Zane sat down.

"Could you light the fire?" Nigma smiled again."

"................................................." Zane was more enraged then he ever was on his life.

Miki blinked. "Wow, excitible group." she said. "Well let's continue." she said, heading forwards.

A Gastly suddenly appeared in front of Rycerz with Scary Face, then licked his face and vanished.

OOC: Wild Card, please don't time jump, leave that to me for plot reasons.
