Hello and again welcome to the Aperture Science Computer-Aided Enrichment Center. We hope your brief detention in the relaxation vault has been a pleasant one. Your specimen has been processed and we are now ready to begin the test proper. Before we start, however, keep in mind that although fun and learning are the primary goals of the enrichment center activities, serious injuries may occur. For your own safety, and the safety of others, please refrain from- GLaDOS

Test Subject Nate had awoken from his sleep, upon hearing the speech, he proceded to test chamber 00.
 
Test Subject Chell.

That was what she went by, now, she thought to herself as she headed for Test Chamber 000, as requested.

No last name, of course. That'd be unprofessional.
 
Nate passed through a Portal.

Please look at the other test subject. Now look away. Throughout these tests do not communicate with this test subject, or face the consequences. GLaDOS

Nate did as requested, looking weirdly at the companion cube that had dropped into the room.
 
She stumbled out of the portal, narrowing her eyes at the announcement before she relazxed slightly.

And then Chell shrugged, casually glancing at Nate before her attention was directed at the companion cube that had just fallen into the room.

Ah. Well. It was something, at least.
 
Please put the Companion Cube on the Weighted Aperture Science Button. GLaDOS

Nate picked up the Companion Cube, and placed it on the button. The Companion Cube weighed down the button, and GLaDOS spoke again.

Excellent. Please proceed into the Chamber-lock after completing each test. First, however, note the incandescent particle field across the exit. This Aperture Science Material Emancipation Grille will vapourize any unauthorized equipment that passes through it. For instance, the Aperture Science Weighted Storage Cube. GLaDOS
 
Chell plopped the Weighted Companion Cube onto the button and waited for a few minutes, before the cube's weight activated the button. GLaDOS' voice sounded again and Chell obediently exited the Test Chamber.

Thrilling, it was.
 
Test Subjects, please take the separate elevators, or like said before, face the consequences. GLaDOS

Chell shrugged, stepping obediently into the lift.

Who was she to diobey GLaDOS?

She nodded once at the other person though, her only outwards display of defiance.
