Possible Alder Appearance

Ahhhh, my heart feels warm.

He is my favorite character so I'm quite thrilled about this. I feel Trip will take the role of Cheren seeing as they both have a similar role and Trip has a flashback with Alder.
 
I wasn't too sure about him at first, but playing through the game made me really appreciate Alder as a character. I'm glad he'll be finally appearing 'in the flesh', though I do hope his presence has more to do with the upcoming kami trio story and less to do with Shooty's fairly sorry flashback.

We got Garchomp early with Cynthia, so a Volcarona debut would be nice!
 
Cool! I've always like Adeku's design. if this all happens in or near Raimon City, I hope we get some Kamitsure screentime as well.

We saw him in a flashback so it was only a matter of time before he appeared. I imagine Trip will appear in the episode too.

Let's hope the foreshadow the Champion league and don't screw over the fanbase again like they did in DP. Hey, remember all those DP Elite 4 episodes? Oh yeah....they were all pointless.
 
Kami Trio, Subway Twins, and Alder... Finally! Can't wait for December.

Let's hope that Trip will also be seen as well. His entire existence as Ash's rival is solely dependant on what Alder has to say about Ash.
 
If Alder is gonna appear any time soon, I hope Trip appears and gets to meet his idol once again. It'd be great if they have Trip face Alder and HOPEFULLY it'll do something to make him a little more likable and do something for the rivalry...SOMEHOW. I don't care how, I just want something to happen to make this an actual rivalry cause by this point I just wanna see him end up being ignore for the rest of the series.
 
Sounds fun. Writers realize the awesomeness of the Subway Masters..yet they don't seem to tap into their awesomeness potential. But whatever.

On Alder. The guy is just badass, I hope we get some development for Ash (or even..ugh..Trip) thanks to him.

Bah, I found Adeku underwhelming in the games, especially when compared to the awesome that was Shirona XD
I would only be happy with an Adeku appearance if he has something to do with Team Plasma like in the games ._.
 
I love Alder his design is really great and he has that strong Champion appearance! Hope they make a some good eps with him( Including some TP action and a fight against Ash in some point!) Cause DP just needed Ash fighting Cynthia to complete the story so we never knew if Ash really is stronger than Paul(direct comparison) !
 
Actually I hope that Ash and Trip have an impromptu battle, and at the end of it, Alder appears and surprises everyone.
 
Damn, those writers sure are loving on the Subway twins. Alder's appearance makes me think he's going to watch Trip and Ash battle, and of course Trip probably wants to show off in front of his idol. Maybe Ash wins and Trip gets angry about it?
 
If those rumors turn out to be true, my only hope is that Alder will make a fool of himself in that episode as he does in the games at that festival.
Oh yeah, have I mentioned yet that I can't stand Alder? ;) If only we got an episode featuring Cynthia vs. Alder with Cynthia mopping the floor with the latter.

Alder made a foold of himself at the festival? When did that happen?

BW really seems to be a saga full of disliked characters.
Back in DP, anything could happen. Now in BW, everyone can be unlikeable!

While Alder isn't my favourite champion he surely isn't my least favourite one either. I liked his characterisation in the games and his whole backstory so I am looking forward to an actual, non-flashback appearance.
 
Yay! Alder is a really cool Champion, one of my favorites. Any episode with him is sure to be good. This could also help Trip's character development significantly, since Trip looks up to Alder so much. I'm also excited for Ash to meet him!
 
Pfft, is Cynthia cool enough to wear sandals and a poncho? I think not :p
It's about time Alder decided to show up, I just love the way he acts like Pokemon isn't SRS BZNS (and gets away with it, because he's the champion).
I have faint hopes that the writers might rescue Trip's character, but I'm not holding my breath.
