Possible location for Kalos?

In a map showing Unova's location in the Anime, there seems to be a location resembling Kalos (outlined in red).

Also, if that is the configuration, the spot with the lighthouse on Kalos's artwork seems to be the ideal place for a boat to leave Kalos en route to Unova. (I know this is very, very unlikely, though.)

It's plausible, but keep in kind that that map was basically just a throwaway, meant to be on screen for only a couple of seconds. Also, I doubt Gamefreak has the entire Pokemon globe mapped out like that in the first place (and if they do, I doubt their map includes double Scandinavia all the way).

Seems unlikely since Kalos is shaped like a star. We'll just have to wait and see.

The outline of the region is shaped like a star but the continent/land it's part of isn't.

That area does look particularly like the European Penninsula.

It actually reminds me a bit more of Ransei region from Pokemon Conquests more than Kalos. The shape looks a bit more like Arceus to me than a star.

I'd think the location of Kalos would be like each individual region's design: loosely based on a real-world location, with lots of artistic license. In this case, between Unova and Kanto/ Johto/ Sinnoh.

That anime map is probably a throwaway and will change for accuracy once they make enough regions.

Kalos doesn't have a peninsula leading directly north like that.

That image doesn't look much like Kalos; I'm not convinced.

That area does look particularly like the European Penninsula.

Europe isn't a peninsula :/

Being based off of france i say it is in that general area
