Now that Sun and Moon are nearly here, something came to mind. What kind of Move Tutors will we see in Sun/Moon? Under normal circumstances, the first pair of games in a new gen generally lack wide-ranged Move Tutors. However, Sun/Moon have been rather unpredictable lately, so it's possible that they might get more Move Tutors than standard first gen games. Now, my question is: if Sun/Moon has Move Tutors, what moves do you predict they will have?

To start things off, I suspect that, like every game for the past while, the "standard" Move Tutors will be there. Meaning the Pledge moves, Elemental Hyper Beams, and the forme-specific ones like Relic Song and Secret Sword. However, I'm hoping that we also get the more "advanced" Move Tutors like in ORAS with moves like Hyper Voice, Low Kick, Elemental Punches, etc. What about the rest of you? What Move Tutors do you think will be in the games?

I wonder if the Move Tutors will be like B2W2 where you have to pay for moves with shards. If so, then just please make the move currency be easy to obtain. Or just use PokeDollar.

Other than the usual ones we get in each generation, I'd like to see:

-Sucker Punch
-Double-Edge
-Play Rough
-Whirlpool
-Defog
-Belch
-Parabolic Charge
-Work Up
-Avalanche
-Natural Gift
-Heal Block
-Endure

They probably aren't that likely though, since they've had a chance to bring most of them back and haven't yet.

I'm not expecting anything else aside from what we had in X and Y. Namely the Pledge moves, elemental Hyper Beams, Draco Meteor, Relic Song, and Secret Sword. The initial pairs usually don't have anything else and I'm not sure why they'd change that too.

I can see Dragon Ascent joining this group regardless of the intentions for Mega Evolution but what I also want here is V-Create became Victini isn't worth jack without this. That's why I've passed on the anniversary one.

I kinda assumed that they don't include Move Tutors until the second installment of a generation because they want to get a feel for how the metagame fairs with all of the new Pokémon in a raw state first. But I don't know how feasible that theory actually is as far as the timeline of development goes.

but what I also want here is V-Create

Absolutely. Actually, forego the Tutor - why isn't this one of its relearnable moves!?

It also keeps some "freshness" for later years in VGC. Like how most legendaries aren't allowed the first year and they change the format up in later ones. Suddenly something like Hyper Voice Sylveon went from being disallowed to being able to be used the next year and changes how the metagame is.

On one hand, I expect them to only have the basic move tutors like every other first in a generation. On the other hand, I'm slightly hopeful that they'll have the good ones because A: maybe they've learned, and B: they've hyped up some kind of battle frontier or facility, so give us good moves to buy with BP?

I only see the pledges, ultimate grass/fire/water attack and draco meteor. I don't see other move tutors. Maybe a tutor for Keldeo and Meloette.

I REALLY want us to have to BATTLE move tutors and actually having to EARN their abilities and such instead of hunting for items. and with each battle, they grow stronger and stronger.
