Possible RPG based "The Legend of Zelda"

Hello everyone, i was thinking about starting an RPG based on the videogame series, "The Legend of Zelda" It will probably be set between the events of "Ocarina of Time" and "Twilight Princess" in Hyrule. But several things are needed for plot.

A antagonist (Main Villan)

A reason why characters other then Link need to take action

and how Zelda fits into the story. (It woulnd't be based off of Zelda without the princess herself!)

and i would also would like to see if anyone is intereted in this idea.

I think it would be cool if, like, Gannon killed Zelda and took his sword, and he became the hero of time.

You mean Link.... Zelda is the princess.

Personally, I think it'd be cool if Zelda was a girl.

But to provide you a slightly pertinent reply, I must ask what the events between OoT and TP were. I didn't know that anything really remarkable happened between games, and furthermore I'm still not certain that series has such a coherent timeline that you can judge what happened between games.

Unless it involves a lot of dicking around with space-time and, at one point or another, a cloning machine with broken color correction.

Basically, the space between the games is a few hundred years. In between then, the Gerudo disappeared. A lot of people say they were sealed in the Twilight realm and became Twili, which makes sense, considering there's a huge prison in the desert the Gerudo used to live in. Maybe something to do with the implied genocide?

Not completely true, some people theorize that the Gerudo simply just started living among the Hylians and Humans, after the supossed fall Ganondorf in Ocarina Time, meaning thats as time passed by, there blood line thinned as they started mating with Hylian and Human males. Its also been theorized that the Sheikah were sent there do to betraying the royal family in the Hyrulean Civil War, but the more likely case is the theory of mixed races who each competed for the light of the Sacred Ream.

Anyway, i've been playing around with ideas and i think i got a decent idea.
