A club known as the "B-Button Alliance" teaches Satoshi-tachi about evolution. The leader of the club shows our heroes the strongest Koiking and the most beautiful Hinbass...

Pachirisu vs. Aipom! Contest Battle!!
It's a ten-year anniversary one hour special! Satoshi decides to help Musashi by lending her his Aipom so she can participate in the Pokemon Contest.

Roaring Haganeil! Protect the Village of Bipper!!
Satoshi-tachi come across an injured Bipper in the middle of the forest. As they take the pokemon to a nearby waterfall, the Rocket-Dan appear. However, the shape of an angry Haganeil appears behind the waterfall as well!

I assume Jessie is in disguise as Ash gives her Aipom.

Sushi's summary suggests Ash does it to thank Jessie for saving Aipom.

This sounds like the best episode ever.

The dub aired the 10th Anniversary special, Mastermind, a month after the actual 10th Anniversary - so I guess it doesn't matter that much....

I think it's safe enough to say that this is really just a two part contest episode aired together, not just one episode. It'll certainly be two episodes for the dub.

Also, again we see Jessie getting the foreshadowing for capturing a new Pokemon. I hope it isn't a Bippa/Beadull >_>........

Remember the whole thing about Ash giving Hikari Aipom since it wanted to do Contest...

Well...do you think if Jessie does a good job with Aipom, and it really likes her...

Disregarding that crazy spec., I think Jessie's Sinnoh capture might just be random and out of the blue.

Yeah, I really doubt that Aipom is going anywhere but with Ash or to Oak's.

However... it is, most definitely, not going to the villains.

Jessie is probably going to be wearing a disguise or something when she approaches Ash and Co, cause I doubt Ash would let her use it if he knew who she was.

Well as a one hour Contest, we'll presumedly see Hikari get her first ribbon, and Aipom evolving is a strong possibility.

I guess Nozomi isn't showing up then, right? Drew was at all of May's beginning Contests, is Nozomi going to be on and off?

I don't think we have enough information to say that the Pachirisu vs. Aipom episode is going to be an hour long. I think it's just as likely for us to see a regular 22-minute episode followed by a half-hour retrospective of the last ten years of the anime.

That really makes it sound like J's device is more like a Snag Machine than it seems. If she was just turning them to stone it wouldn't say that she uses the machine to 'steal Pokémon...'

About what I expected...

Wild guess---maybe Jessie disguises herself as May? Ash has already proven he's dumb enough to fall for it...

I don't think we have enough information to say that the Pachirisu vs. Aipom episode is going to be an hour long. I think it's just as likely for us to see a regular 22-minute episode followed by a half-hour retrospective of the last ten years of the anime.

Except there would be no reason to make a 1 part Contest this early on in the series, especially since this may be Hikari's first ribbon. The writers aren't rushing this time unlike in BF, so each Contest should be a two-parter.

Eh, I hope Hikari gets her own cast of coordinators though since Jessie sounds like the main opponent in this episode. All the one-shot coordinators from Hoenn were amazing, so I hope they go down the route that made May's Contests a hit.

Probably not, because that looks like Cross Poison it's using in the trailer. Unless they're going by the Colosseum standard with Shadow Rush + normal moves, but again, games /=/ anime.

Snag Machines and Shadow Pokémon would rock though... they're long overdue.
