Given that your translation of Satoshi's line isn't entirely correct (it's more along the lines of "wow, that sure sounded impressive, even though I didn't quite understand it") and your summary of what Dent said as "marriage and stuff", I have a feeling you either didn't understand it, or more probably, watched some subs written by someone who didn't understand it and just tried to bullshit his way through.
