Original RP between me and Infernal King.
Eons ago, the city of Atlantis was one of the richest civilizations on Earth…until an alien named the Empress of Infinity, Corona, descended from the stars. She and her army waged war on Atlantis’ forces and seemed on the verge of victory. However, the scientists of Atlantis modified the DNA of their strongest warriors, giving them great powers which they used to defeat Corona and seal her away in a tomb. However, with her last bit of strength, Corona pulled Atlantis into the depths of the sea. The survivors of Atlantis knew that in the distant future, an alignment would occur and set Corona free from her prison. So they left a warning and one of their greatest warriors in suspended animation for that day along with putting a lock on the mutated DNA of their warriors to reactivate when the alignment occurred.
That warrior, Adrian Senshi, and the prophecy were uncovered on the modern day east coast of the US and the warning coincided with the end of the Mayan Calendar on December 21, 2012, another warning from Atlantis. With the technology of Atlantis combined with modern technology, weapons and powered suits were created to combat Corona’s forces, the Dijin, when they reawakened as part of Project Infinity‘s Edge. Sure enough, on that date, the sinister alien awakens and the descendents of the altered Atlantians are assembled to become the Infinity’s Edge Power Rangers and stop Corona’s reign of terror at all costs.
Names: Eric Drake
Ranger Position: Blue
Age: 19
Theme: Wolf
Personality: Noble, honorable, will go to great lengths to protect his friends. He’s a team player and will obey orders.
History: A forest ranger, he began to discover his physical abilities increasing, and was recruited to the Infinity’s Edge project as the blue Ranger.
Appearance: He has a wolf helmet with its open mouth forming the visor, his suit has triangular spike patterns on the sides, the tips touching each other, he has white gloves and boots and a trident head symbol on his chest. Blue, obviously. He's about 5' 6'' and rather fit. He's also Native American in his background.
Powers and Weapons: He has a curved Wolf’s Fang sword that resembles a wolf’s tail, the hilt having a howling wolf symbol. He also has the Defending Blaster and Defending Edge weapons they all possess. His special power is Yellowstone Speedup, letting him move at high speeds for short periods of time.
Zord: Blue Wolf Zord.
Finisher: Dash Burst: Speedsup and delivers a barrage of energized slashes through the target.
Names: Jarret Stone
Ranger Position: Black (not at the beginning)
Age: 19
Theme: Skunk
Personality: Tough, protective of his little sister, serious if needed, once you befriend him, he’s a great person to have as backup, as he’ll stop at nothing to protect what he cares for.
History: A firefighter who discovered his awakening powers in a burning building and used them to rescue the trapped people. He was recruited to Infinity’s Edge but was still in training when the other Rangers went into action, at which point the was appointed to a field soldier backing up the Rangers until he’s made the Black Ranger.
Appearance: Basically the same as Blue’s, only black colored with a skunk motif on the head (complete with white stripe).
Powers and Weapons: He’s equipped with the Skunk Shooter, a sniper rifle with a skunk motif, the head being the barrel. He has the normal sidearm’s. His special ability is the Gobi Subfreezer, which lets him unleash a powerful blast of cold to freeze targets.
Zord: Black Skunk Zord.
Finisher: Critical Hit: Targets the enemy’s weak point and then fires a full power shot from the Skunk Shooter to destroy them.
Names: Adrian Senshi
Ranger Position: Mentor
Age: Appears around 25 but is actually several centuries old.
Theme: His armaments have a Megalodon theme.
Personality: Fatherly, serious at times, but a good leader. Very intelligent and straight to the point normally. He does have a sense of humor though.
History: The leader of the Atlantis Warriors eons ago, when Corona was defeated, he volunteered to be placed into suspended animation to protect the world when she returned. He’s the nemesis of Corona.
Appearance: Doesn’t have one yet, but does have an Atlantian suit of armor similar to a Centurion, only more high tech.
Powers and Weapons: He normally uses a trident if he has to fight, and can use the normal side arms of the Rangers if needed. He’s got enhanced strength and speed, as well as a great deal of combat experience.
Zord: Megalodon Carrier Zord (carries the other Zords into battle)
Finisher: None.
