When it comes to rumors, the best reaction is skepticism. Such should be the case with the report that Pokémon Palace Network Web master PPNSteve's home was raided by the U.S. government at the request of Pokémon USA. It all just seems a bit too far fetched to believe.

It's been two days and we've had no news of other Pokémon fansites being shut down. Agreed skepticism is the best course of action. Even better, BAU ("Business As Usual") is the best course of action.

BAU? Sorry, but what's that? Anyway, my thoughts on this are, "creepy, insane, and weird". I really have no idea why this is happening...And why wasn't it in local newspapers? Really, REALLY weird...

I agree, Rachel.

So I guess for now, all we can do is wait for more information and see what happens with this situation.

Possibly something to do with the webmaster himself.

hopefully it doesn't end up like fox and The Simpsons sites from several years ago.

As some had speculated earlier, PPNSteve might have just made up a story to wash his hands off PPN.net. Many others - including me - have said time and again that it might have nothing to do with copyright infringement.

Let me reiterate my general opinion: the whole thing makes no sense. Yes, there's the recent thing about Nintendo going after Korean web sites, but it may very well be an isolated case.

(apologies to the staff here if I stepped over the line with this post - I will gladly delete this post if you find it to be so)
