Hi I'm new at the site but I been going on here alot reading the forum and looking around and stuff so I decided to join in :).

Lately I been making alot of my own creation of Pokemon and I made some pre-evolutions too so i decided to post that in here and maybe u guys can help give em some name for me to post it on the site im making and the game im thinking of hacking to put into. I hope u like em and it would be really nice to get some comments :). I'm not a great artist like some of you here ;) so i just paste my pokemon into some background and i hope you guys like it :). Thanxz

Pre-Evolutions of Sentret, Mr.Mime, Chansey, Pinsir, and Lapras

Wow, those are really neat. The Pinsir one scares me, but the Lapras is my favorite. ;p
 
Cute! ^^ They are awesome! I might be able to help with names, they're in my comments.

Sentret's - I love the pose, it's so adorable! A good name may be Watchet (as in 'watch', going along with Sentret's 'sentry' name-pun). Maybe "Mouset" too (sorta looks like a mouse ^^; )

Lapras' - This one is so adorable ^^ The shell is cute, and I love its expression. Maybe "Turtlis" or "Turtlas"? Sorta looks like a little turtle.

Mr. Mime's - Mr. Mime itself is a...... :\ .......but this one is cute ^^ "Mimik" might be a good name (you can spell it however: Mimic, Mimek, if you use it, that is ^^; )

Chansey's - Quite possibly the cutest of the bunch. It looks so happy! ^^ "Mersy" (the first part pronounced like the beginning of "merry") might be a good name.

Pinsir's - Ooh, so tough looking! This one is cool. Maybe "Stagbe", taken from "stag beetle"?
 
Oh, I likes 'em. They almost look Cell-shaded, and maybe, they are. ;)

I'll have to say that Lapras is my favorite, it's just so cute 'nd innocent looking.

Keep up the good work, I like yer stuff.
 
I must say you have a lot of creativity. I couldn't made pre-evolutions even if my life depends on it o_o;; Your drawings are extremely cute, especially the Mr. Mime one ^_^ You made an excellent job with the cell shading.

I can't think of any names for them, but if an idea crosses my mind, I'll be sure to tell you.
 
Sentret - Aw! It's got that "jack in the box" pose thing going on. It sort of has a Digimon-looking appearence what with the head and tail and all, but that's not a bad thing in this situation ^-^ I'd call it Senti or Sentri. Maybe even Sennie!

Mr. Mime - Who would have thought you could take such a disturbing-looking Pokemon and make such an adorable pre-evolution! Sort of like from swan to ugly duckling, like with Jynx. I love it! Especially the feet. It could be something like "Mimmie".

Chansey - I love the pose, it looks so happy dacing around like that! I like how you used what were by the ears of Chansey, to go on as a skirt, it such a neat idea! And I love the bunny-like ears, too. I'm thinking something like "Chime" or "Chimin".

Pinsir - A bit scary, but it's a realistic appearance as to how an unevolved baby Pinsir may look like. I like how you didn't make this one terribly kawaii like your other ones. It looks sort of like a baby robot! I'm thinking "Sharpie" or "Steelbot". Okay, those are dumb. I can't think of anything!

Lapras - Obviously the cutiest of all five! Reminds me of a turtle. God, I can't stop staring at it's cute little eye! You should make more poses of this one ^-^" Anyway, it could be something like Lippie or Lapla.
 
To be honest with you, these look like Official Pre-evolutions that Nintendo came up with. That's how good they are. I have nothing negative to say, because I love each one of them. All 5 are so cute, which people look for in Pre-Evolutions. All five of the poses look excellent, and makes the picture as a whole look even better. The only thing I don't particulary care for is the background. It seems like a dark and scary forest, and the pre-evolutions disagree with that. They look so happy and carefree and it would look better, in my opinion atleast, if it was in a happy and brighter place. Although I could see a connection with the scary forest. Maybe it symbolizes danger, and the Baby Pokemon are disregarding it and just care free of what's going on, as many babies are. In that case, I don't not like the background. Anyways, overall, this picture was excellent.

By the way, I forgot to mention in above post, but the detail looks very nice.

That's exactly what I was going to say, I forgot to put that in my last post ^-^"

But yeah, if you use a different background, it'd be almost perfect. Chose a lighter, happier background that matches with how the Pokemon's pesonalities look. If I hadn't known you drew these, I would have seriously thought they were 4th generation Pokemon or something, especially the Mr. Mime and Chansey.

*As a side note I'd like to add, if you decide to keep that background you may want to add more shadows around them. For example, you should add some shadowing below the baby Pinsir's raised foot because unless it's really really bright out, you should see more shadow. You can tell it's not that bright out because of the darkness of the scene.
 
HI! thank you all for your nice comments :)... i love all ur ideas with names and i will probably use some of it :). As for the background i dont know why it coming out dark on u guys but on my screen its kinda bright and i actually took that background out from a real pokemon anime, the first scene on Pikachu's Mini Movie "PikaPika Starlight Camp" I think thats the tittle but yeah I might try to find sometihng bright :). I'm also thinking of making more pre-evolutions who else u guys think should have a pre-evoluition?
 
:kawaii: Those's pre-evo's are awesome The sentret's 100% cute and I like the tuft of hair on it, Mr.Mime really has something of it's evo inside it, but still looks babyisch and cute, The baby-Chanseys name could be something like Jolly, that's accactly how it looks, the Pinser one looks nice for an evo of Pinser, but as an offferder of the "Heracross and Pinser have the same pre-evo" theory, I'm not to found of him, but that's just personal taste and for a picture I really like him and baby-Lapras's just kawaii, maybe it's in the picture a bit to small for a baby-Lapras, but it looks okay itself

I personally think the background is very cute so if you want, disregard the earlier comments, since who's opinion REALLY matters? j/k ^^ But I do think it's fine.

I personally like all of them but maybe the Mr. Mime pre-evolution the most. I think it's the eyes. =P

Anyway, I'll give name reccommendations now:

Mr. Mime: Mime Jr.
(well it was a Mr., so why not a Jr.?)
Chansey: Bonsey
(well I had to keep the -sey.. and the Bon from BonBon for candy and for bon meaning good)
Sentret: Skippet
(no comments really)
Lapras: Padrus
(Lapras - Lap > Paddle - ddle = Padrus)

(Pincher just sounds like a cute name to me ^^;)

Seriously, those are adorable beyond reason, and are really well colored. The background suits fine, and at first I thought you did it yourself until I saw the explanation.

Know what would be another of the cutest pre-evolutions in the world? Sneasel. ^.^

someone just requested that :) and snorlax...i just finished the snorlax and imma work on sneasel soon i just finished combining mewtwo and charizard as well :)

The pre-Raikou is adorable! ^^ Makes me wanna see/make a pre-Suicune (my fav Legendary Dog) Ooh, or a pre-Articuno *starry eyed*
 
suicine and entei are two of my other request but imight work on it later cuz i got tons of request going on...so i apologize if it might take awhile but i will work on it i promise
 
I wasn't requesting them, just mentioning them :p Like I said, I may draw my version of a pre-Suicune and Articuno. I haven't done anything Pokémon in a while ^^
