Recently, I have become hooked on the entire Pretty Cure (or "Precure" as it's referred to as) series. I've only seen Futari Wa (excluding Max Heart), Suite, Heartcatch and am still watching the airing series, Happiness Charge, naturally.
I was wondering if there were any fans here of the series- and more importantly, what do you ship?
Here is my list, so far...
Futari Wa Precure
NagiHono (Nagisa/Honoka): Okay, it was obvious to me that I would fall for this shipping, as if you've ever seen the series, the whole concept is that those two, as Cure Black and White should be inseperable as a team, and their only real magical attacks are performed together. Despite this, I still like them together; I felt their relationship as two girls from opposite sides of the spectrum was played realistically, and I admired their resolve to make their friendship last despite that.
NagiYuka (Nagisa/Yuka Odajima): Their little rivalry, Nagisa's fears that the Madonna hated her, and how Yuka uses Nagisa's catchphrase in frustration when she loses to her was very cute for me.
KiriHono (Honoka/Kiriya): This developed well in Futari Wa, I thought and it was interesting to watch these two interact.
Ryouta/Honoka: His crush on her was very sweet, I thought.
Nagisa/Mepple: Shoot me; I ship a girl with her fairy, but I don't mind. Their bickering was so entertaining.
Suite Precure
HibiKana (Hibiki/Kanade): I can never resist protagonist shippings, but this one is my favourite so far. Hibiki being Kanade's number one fan for her pastries, Kanade realising she makes them for her smile, their friendship and bickering initially entranced me.
Seiren/Hummy: I definitely ship these two: Hummy was perpetually so sweet to her, even when she was on the other side, and Seiren's reactions to this were the best. Also, they seemed like fantastic friends in their past as well.
Souta/Ako: It was going to be paired by me. I don't know, Souta's one-sided crush and the fact that they are best friends in their primary school was endearing for me.
Hibiki/Waon: Waon constantly declaring she'll always be there is Hibiki is in need- it appealed to my shipping heart.
HeartCatch Precure
ItsuBomi (Itsuki/Tsubomi): This is my Precure OTP, for sure. I believe, even after the events of episode 7, Tsubomi still had lingering feelings for her, and well, Itsuki is just so charming with her.
Ban/Tsubomi: Aesthetically, this works a treat in my mind. Even without that, they seemed to have a friendly relationship.
Erika/Tsubomi: I must confess, I wouldn't ship this as much as I ship the other protagonists together, but they still have their hints that I can't ignore.
... I probably have much more, but that's what comes to mind for now. I'm ambivalent about my Happiness Charge shippings, so I didn't include them. Anyways, how about the rest of you Precure fans?
