In the next several episodes.

- Ash will battle Olympia and her two different Meowstic with his Frogadier.
- The group will come across an Eevee.
- Serena will perform in her next Pokemon Showcase and she will use her Braixen and Pancham during the Free Performance.
- Ash's Fletchinder will evolve into Talonflame whilst battling a Moltres.

Another thing. Clemont seems to be holding up his Bunnelby, who is injured and bandaged, while crying. This may be related to the Diggersby episode.

Also the Tyrunt is clearly from the Tyrantrum episode, and the little guy will probably evolve and say goodbye to the group in the end. It also appears to be a Bonnie-centered episode.

I'm so hyped. The Olympia battle (Frogadier's being used, yes!), Moltres vs. Talonflame, and especially Serena's showcase (Thank goodness it's not as long a wait this time!) all look awesome. Also happy to see Eevee finally appear and Bunnelby getting some screentime. I just seriously hope Bunnelby doesn't evolve. I can't stand his hideous evolution.

Not to mention how TPCI made the species a bunch of hicks. (though I find it rather amusing  )

Maybe it belongs to someone else or is wild.

Re: Preview of upcoming episodes, including Ash battling Olympia & Serena's next Show

maybe it will evolve or maybe not....who knows what they are upto..........like Goodra being released......this series is much more mixed. Compared to other series how they had patterns...this is a bit different....and exciting....

And regarding Alain, i guess Ash will meet Alain at the Sundial in Anistar City.....where Alain will come to upgrade his Mega Ring directed to him by Lysandre and they will have a match cause he will see his Charizard along with him. Ash will use his Frogadier explaining to Alain that it was given to him be Sycamore, and then the match will be over when Ash loses it. He goes to Sycamore to kjow more about Mega Evolution and asks Oak to send him his Charizard and they start to develop mega evolution plot on it

So, Ash vs. Olympia will be a 1-on-2 battle? Or will Pikachu also be used here?

Re: Preview of upcoming episodes, including Ash battling Olympia & Serena's next Show

Am I the only one who wants Tyrunt to be added to the team? Seriously, if ash can get three part flyers, lets get crazy and give him two dragons! Noivern is more then likely gonna be the flying specialist in the end anyway, with Talonflame and Hawlucha as fire and fighting specialists. Rock is a good type to balance out the team in the end, and the added dragon type with its evo is a nice bonus. Not to mention a good counter for any electric users.
On the rest of the stuff, Olympia and Eevee are likely somewhere in September. I wonder how it will play out though, like I don't really see them that close to Anistar yet.

Not necessarily. It might be that the second Pokemon was just not shown. Or maybe it already fainted.

In any case, I'm expecting Hawlucha since Hawlucha and Frogadier have mastered the special move which only works in double battles like this, Super Flying Cut. Unless we get double battles in the League, this is the only chance for that combo move to have some meaningful use.

Ash was seen throwing just one Poke Ball, although he may have thrown both of those balls out at different times. I still think this is either a 1-on-2 battle, or a 2-on-2 in which Pikachu will also be involved.

Re: Preview of upcoming episodes, including Ash battling Olympia & Serena's next Show

Dunno, I still think it will be Hawlucha. I doubt Super Flying Cut was created for nothing.

Except we don't know how the battle will go.

It could be a 4 on 4 double battle, and Ash's three Pokemon got knocked out. And finally sends out Frogadier, especially since it looks like Ash sent out Frogadier out of desperation.

Plus it wouldn't make sense for Frogadier to be the ONLY Pokemon used. It would be incredibly cheap for Olympia to use 2 Pokemon but challengers only one. I know its her gym but when one of the more common rules is that only the challenger is allowed substitutions, and rules where challengers can use any number of Pokemon, it would be incredibly unfair to have a gym leader to have a handicap match against the challenger. *THIS ASSUMES an outright disadvantage*

Pikachu being used makes even less sense, otherwise we would've seen it in the preview, but again we don't know how the battle turns out.

I'm more likely to believe that it will be a handicap match, than Pikachu being used, because if Frogadier's partner was Noibat/Talonflame/Hawlucha I could understand trying to keep some mystery for the gym battle, by only showing ONE of the Pokemon, but Pikachu, there's no mystery of the gym battle when its involved. Plus I can't imagine Pikachu being in this gym battle as WELL as Wulfric.

Re: Preview of upcoming episodes, including Ash battling Olympia & Serena's next Show

Lots of upcoming interesting episodes. I'm hoping Tyrunt can join the team... it seems to really have fun with all the pokemon. I wish it's not a lost baby or anything that'll return to its parent...

Re: Preview of upcoming episodes, including Ash battling Olympia & Serena's next Show

Wow, awesome set of episodes are coming (even the Chespin one may be fun with Bunnelby involved) :ksmile:

The Anistar gym battle is a double one so I expect Ash to use 2 mons against Olympia, the second one was just not shown, might be Pika, Hawlucha, Talonflame or Noibat, we'll have to wait I guess.

Agreed.

Surely they aren't foolish enough to make the same mistakes they did with Elesa and Homika, right?

...RIGHT?! :uhoh:

I can... :-(

We all know how much the producers like making him the hero anyway. Especially since a large percentage of XY is just one big pile of Pikachu of glorification :dead:

Pikachu has only appeared in 2/3 of the gym battles we've seen so far, and lost one of those he did. Compare that to the fact he featured in every single one of the Johto gyms....you didn't complain then.

Sorry, I wasn't thinking of the Johto Battles when I made that post. Though I didn't complain then because I didn't watch back then. (Caught up a year or so ago thanks to Boomerang).

Though you're right. He isn't the hero of the Gym Battles as much as previous sagas. Though I was referring to XY as a whole. (Though to be fair, I think I'm still tasting the recent Pikachu Movie special :sweatlol:)

Re: Preview of upcoming episodes, including Ash battling Olympia & Serena's next Show

The episodes are really interesting. I hope that Bunnelby won't evolve. I prefer him to learn a new move and batting his evolved form.

The Anistar Gym Battle seems really anticipating. Olympia vs. Ash probably will be a 2 on 2. The one that we know is Frogadier, the other... either Pikachu (which is signature Pokemon and can appear in as many gym battles he wants, also explains the reason why only one pokeball was thrown), or Talonflame (they did't want to show him officially appearing in the gym battle in the preview, and prefer to tease its evolution in the Moltres episode), or the craziest scenerio- A Pokemon that we don't except to be used like Ash capturing Tyrunt and using it in the battle. I don't think it will happen but theories are theories and XY never stops to surprise us. :-D

Difference is I actually wouldn't mind a handicap match because it would mean Frogadier would take out both Meowstic, not sure your point on Elesa, but with Roxie, that was bad because we knew it forced Ash to lose Pokemon during the match, and screwed Ash over as a trainer, by giving him a huge advantage but only to make three Pokemon be fall Pokemon.

Difference here with Olympia is that she would have the outright advantage over Ash because of the handicap match. Which again doesn't make sense for a gym leader to do. Plus Ash is sending Frogadier out in desperation which means it most likely might be a 4 on 4 double battle, and his three other Pokemon already fainted.

Unless Ash would look desperate by the unusual rules of the Anistar Gym.

I can... :-(

The problem is, Pikachu needlessly took the first3 gyms, Korrina was fine, Viola and Grant were stupid but fine I accept them. Having Pikachu be in the Anistar gym doesn't make sense. I expect Wulfric because it's the last gym of the series, but should Pikachu help earn Ash his Psychic badge as well as Iceberg badge, I'm going to be super pissed.

Compare that to the fact he featured in every single one of the Johto gyms....you didn't complain then.
No one complained about Pikachu being in every gym in Johto because it didn't needlessly earn Ash his badge and screwed over another Pokemon in the process as much as Pikachu had in the past. The only complaint I would have is that Totodile and Heracross got screwed over in the process. I'm ignoring Phanpy because well, no point in complaining about an egg POkemon hatching super late and being at a disadvantage in both gyms, one by being weak against the typing, the other being a horrible choice to use in said gym.

Falkner- Charizard
Bugsy- Cyndaquil
Whitney- Pikachu
Morty- Noctowl
Chuck- Bayleef
Jasmine- Cyndaquil
Pryce- Technically Pikachu, though Pryce gave up, and Cyndaquil beat a Dewgong *underwater*
Clair- Charizard

But let's look at what could happen in Kalos:

Viola- Pikachu
Grant- Pikachu
Korrina- Pikachu
Ramos- Frogadier
Clemont- Goodra
Valerie- Hawlucha
Olympia- Pikachu and Frogadier
Wulfric- Pikachu

Yes then there would be a valid reason to complain about Pikachu because it would be overly unnecessary.

Yes, but key word there...."could". We don't "know".

Pikachu "could" win every single gym battle for each new league, but whilst he tends to take a good chunk of them, he never does.
