Preview Preview of upcoming episodes, including Ash battling Sawyer at the Kalos League

Man, this League is going to be the battle of titans. Makes me want to look back at the old Pokémon League and see how much as changed, especially with DP.
 
Omgggggggg this is so exciting!!

Preview makes the Satoshi vs Shouta fight look like the main one but these things are never realiable. I didn't catch Satoshi vs Tierno though?

Actually if you look cloesly you can see that Satoshi vs Shouta is actually a 3v3 so we know it's not the main fight as Satoshi makes it into the 6v6 rounds.

I wonder who the 6 v 6 battle is against though and the battles do look awesome.

EDIT; Actually it might be a 4v4 battle as you can see 3 other Pokeballs on screen in addition to Pikachu.

Ash vs Tierno? Impossible. Ash is fighting Sawyer here and Sawyer's first big battle is against Tierno.

Yeah, it's probably just Tierno's battle against Sawyer in Tienro's section and then Ash's battle against Sawyer in the section with Ash-Greninja. Although, there is no official confirmation that Sawyer is battling Tienro.

Except from the fact that Tierno owns a Raichu which makes it 99% confirmed with the 1% being a highly unlikely possibility of Raichu belonging to some random trainer.
 
It looks like we might just have the most interesting league statidum yet with those fields! Also, Alain needs to fall once and for all after dominating everyone the WHOLE SERIES. Its looking like he may the be main event sadly, not Sawyer. I do not want to see Ash lose to him a 4th time.

Two rivals own a Slurpuff, I don't see how it's a 99% chance of it being Tierno's just because he owns one. The anime doesn't really care about giving multiple anime characters the same Pokemon. Even look at Alain and Trevor.
 
Kind of disappointed that we only saw Pikachu and Greninja from Ash, but I guess its best to leave as much a surprise as possible. I'm glad that the league is featuring different terrains for the matches again. The generic battlefields from earlier were pretty boring.

I hope we get some really good matches this time around. And I really hope Tierno and Trevor aren't given the short end of the stick and just get demolished by Sawyer and Alain's megas.

Tierno definitely will, on account of Mega Sceptile's Lightning Rod. That's going to be a foregone conclusion.

Yeah, either he's going to be cocky as hell, or there is something deeper going on here, which some people have speculated. Although, out of all of this, the thing I'll be the happiest to see (well, one of the things I'll be the happiest to see at least) is the return of different battlefields. I don't know why DP and BW didn't include them. Maybe 'twas a budge issue or they wanted it to be more simplistic, but either way, I think they always added a nice touch. Plus they can be seen as obstacles, or something Trainers can include in their strategies.
 
Has anyone heard a rumor from a Japanese forum that ash will lose against the sun/moon rival Hau?
