Problems with Mystery Gift

I can't get my mystery gift to work, and I can't find help on any website about it. I put "link together with all" on the clipboard in the shop, and when me and my friend try to mystery gift, my wireless adapter will never find him! I'm not sure if it is broken or what, but if anybody has can tell me anything it would be helpful!
 
Mystery Gift is allows your game to communicate with Wonderspots only. It does not work with other games.

Wonderspots send data to your game, for example the Aurora Ticket, and are available at Nintendo-sponsored events like JAA or Pokemon Rocks America.

And, on further note, the tickets and such can not be transferred.
