"You remember that mystery I told you about in my last letter; it has gotten worse. This time, nearly every child in this town has vanished.. and it all supposed to be down to the "pied piper"
He came here one week ago to talk to my teacher, who apparantely chose "the wrong option". Since then, it has been the same think each week. The sound of a clarinet can be heard playing an almost enchanting melody, but there is no movement outside.
The next morning; a child is found to be missing, and in their place he leaves a calling card, a different puzzle each time, each of which none of us can solve. I am one of the few children left... You must help us..... before its too late
please come Professor.. I need you...

Realising that time is of the essence, Layton heads out to Hamelin,Germany as soon as he can. Little does he know that on the plane ride, Flora has decided to follow him again... And convincing him to take her with, the duo head to the entrance of the town... the question is.. will there be any childeren left by the time they get there?.. and what is the significance of the puzzles?
