After more than three months of waiting, the first two "Trade Remix" songs of the Project VOLTAGE collaboration between Pokémon and the Vocaloid character Hatsune Miku, iyowa's version of inabakumori's Electricity Forecast, and inabakumori's rendition of iyowa's Journey's Prequels, Journey's Traces, are now set to release. The music videos are set to premiere on each artist's official YouTube channel, with Electricity Forecast (sparking remix) going live tomorrow, Wednesday November 13th, at 6:30pm (JST) / 9:30am (UTC) / 1:30am (PST). Journey's Prequels, Journey's Traces (wandering remix) will then premiere half an hour later.

Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project VOLTAGE 18 Types/Songs (Japanese: ポケモン feat. 初音ミク Project VOLTAGE 18 Types/Songs), abbreviated as PokéMiku (ポケミク) is a music project created as a collaboration between Pokémon and the Vocaloid character Hatsune Miku. The project was originally intended to comprise 18 original songs and music videos by 18 different Vocaloid producers, with 18 being chosen due to it being the number of Pokémon types. After the release on March 9th of the 18th original song, Glorious Day by Eve, it was announced that the project would continue with an unspecified number of original songs. These "Trade Remix" songs were first announced back in late July, around the debut of what was billed as the final original song of Project VOLTAGE, Champion (チャンピオン) by Kanaria.

inabakumori (稲葉曇), also stylized as INABAKUMORI, is a Vocaloid producer who originally debuted in 2011 under the alias MichouP (視長P), and has also been known as PUKARI or 因幡プカリ (Inaba Pukari). Though previously specialising in making songs with Kagamine Rin & Len under that old identity, since relaunching as inabakumori in February 2016 they have primarily made songs using Kaai Yuki. To date, inabakumori has only rarely released songs with Hatsune Miku, most notably ハローマリーナ (Hello Marina) in 2021, and collaborating on the MV Arrange Medley of ダンスロボットダンス (Dance Robot Dance), originally created by NayutalieN.

iyowa (いよわ) made their debut as a Vocaloid producer as a high schooler in 2018, with the song Weather of the End ( 終末のお天気, Shuumatsu no Otenki), featuring the Vocaloid flower. iyowa got their first start in digital music creation when they were in only the third grade, with the Nintendo DS software Daigasso! Band Brothers DX, released internationally as Jam with the Band. Their songs are known for their use of crammed singing, variable speed, high-pitched tones, and abrupt modulations. Their biggest hit internationally is Kyu-kurarin (きゅうくらりん), featuring the Vocaloid Kafu, which has racked up more than 52 million views on YouTube since its release in August 2021. Other notable works from this producer actually featuring Hatsune Miku include 2019's IMAWANOKIWA, and 2023's The Peachy Key (ももいろの鍵, Momoiro no Kagi).
