My old blog is old. I might drop some random stuff in here,like ideas I have and such.
Anyway I do have this idea I was kind of thinking about that I just came up with. Its an idea for a story. Now,I dont write or really know how to write and put together any sort of plot and mainaton a story long term,but its interesting to me. It may actually suck as a concept,but I dont really know.
This idea can be considered Dystopian fiction,and am hoping its a unique concept.
So it starts with basically a government that flipped totalitarian and turned into a police state. Theres a lot of chaos and all,you know scary kind of stuff. Many people tried to run. This led to a lot of people trying to basically live out in the wild. The main character is one of these people(I dont have a name),a woman living with a group of these people. They basically have to hunt&forage for food and such,make shelter,etc. Sometimes,people do go and try to get supplies which is naturally extremely dangerous because the military police/government will capture kill them. The government has decided they wont let these people back into normal civilization even if they want to go back because they fled to not live under the regime. However,sometimes they do manage to get supplies like food and clothes. The MC misses her life before but doesnt know what happened to her family or if they are alive,if they are living under the government rule,living in the wild like her or dead. They have to move to try and survive and keep on accessing supplies. They have no tech or anything obviously and a lot of them dont survive. The MC and her communtiy has no idea how many people like them are out there living like this.
One plotline I considered is the MC being captured somehow and trying to do something to the government from inside, as well as trying to find out what happened to her family I just dont know how to make that plot happen. Might be too complicated.
Anyone think this is actually any good as a story?
