Which one to buy and why? I want games for all three, but I can only really get one. I don't want to buy a PS2 now, and then new games come out for PS3 that I want, but I've heard the PS3 sucks and its so expensive....

You should list the games you want for both systems (and how much you want them) to help decide.

Buy an XBOX360, as it's gonna have Banjo-Kazooie 3 on it.

Do you have a Wii already, or you just don't want one?

I did that. The scores for PS2 and 360 were even. At the moment there is only one PS3 game I want, but like I said, that could change when more games come out.

Personally I favor Sony, But right now the logical thing to do would be to buy A 360, its just got better games (as of now) and better graphics than ps2 and its cheaper than a ps3. But ps2 you cant really go wrong with, since it has many great games like Gt4 Acecombat God of war gutiar hero etc.. and its dirt cheap. But since you can find ps3's everywere you could pick one up now and wait a few months when some awesome must have games come out and then ps3's will be hard to find again and then laugh at the other people for not having one because they waited to long.

Xbox 360, it's got great games and the only real exclusives Sony has when it comes to big names right now is Final Fantasy's main franchise.

Yeah, right now 360 does look like the better deal. Japanese Developers are even opening up to it purely on the idea of selling games in the US, but I'd wait it out until Christmas time personally. At that point you will pretty much be able to decide where the PS3 is going and what's next after Halo 3 for the 360.

I pretty much have my heart set on the PS3, besides the game preference, I'm pretty anti-Microsoft (at least in gaming), though I can recognize when they do stuff well. PS3 is expensive though (360 too) personally I really only see myself getting either right away if I already had an HD tv...

Right now, PS3 is an overpriced piece of crap.

Wait till Sony has the price drop, and then get one, if you really want it.

Kingdom Hearts.

I've asked a few other people, and 360 seems like the best choice. Thanks everyone.

It should probably be noted, if you plan to get your system online you might want to think about the cost of that. PS3/PS2 have free online capabilities, while it costs Xbox360 about 60 bucks a year if you don't want to just download stuff for your games. It's not really a giant problem, but it might be something to consider.

Also, in any fairness, the PS3 has been out a lot shorter than the 360, and they're bound to catch up. (Things like HOME and Little Big Planet, to be released next year, really put me in awe.)

Eh, I don't think I'll be doing anything online. Not for that price.

HOME is nothing more than Second Life for a console. Little Big Planet is cute, but I haven't really seen anything new or creative from it aside from the art style.

Gran Turismo 5 is enough of a reason for me to buy a Ps3.

Are they still going through with the plan to make you pay for each individual car and course seperately, ending up with about 500 bucks to obtain everything in the game?

That was just a rumor. Edit: though I should point out that its almost certain that you will be able to download new cars tracks etc.. and some downloads will cost money. But You wouldnt have to do this if you didnt want to since there are more cars/ tracks included in the game than ever before. It would be just for like specials cars etc...
