PSP Help

I figured out how to get anime from my DVDs/Computer onto my PSP, but I the dimensions are messed up because of the wide LCD screen. Does anyone know how I can correct this? Would I need to edit the files before sending it to the PSP or can it be corrected while converting it to MPG4 or am I just gonna have to deal with it?

Try resizing it. I think it's Image->Resize and enter the demensions you want.

This is probably the worst forum to ask such a question at!
I do not have a PSP, but from the time I was learning about it:
-You should re-encode your anime vids anyway, since you'll save space by changing the playback resolution from the original one meant for PC playback, to a smaller one that will fit on a PSP screen.
-Your other option is to make the PSP scale the video on-the-fly, but I would advise against it, for it will cost you much power AND memory storage space. I'm not even sure if the PSP can do this for large vids...

So yeah, re-encode them with one of those PSP vid conversion software tools floating around everywhere. I cannot offer advice as to which is better, for I have not used any; as I said, ask this on a PSP board.
