“Pulsing Aura” expansion announced for Pokémon TCG Pocket, set to launch next week

A new trailer and press release have provided players with their first look at Pokémon TCG Pocket's next expansion, Pulsing Aura, which is set to launch worldwide next week on Monday, April 27th at 6:00pm (PDT) / Tuesday, April 28th at 1:00am (UTC), along with revealing a selection of events coming to the game throughout the next month.

Fantastical Parade
Pulsing Aura follows Fantastical Parade in having one booster pack, this time featuring Mega Lucario and Mega Sceptile. The expansion focuses on Fighting-type Pokémon, with the trailer focusing on a fight between the Pokémon in an arena. This is also reflected in the full-art cards shown in the trailer.

Elite Deck Gift Missions
In this event running from the end of April to the end of July, players can complete missions to obtain a powerful Fire-type Elite Deck, featuring Mega Charizard Y ex from Crimson Blaze and Moltres ex from Genetic Apex.

Handy Card Collection Missions
Complete Handy Card Collection Missions from late April to late July to obtain useful Trainer cards that can turn the tide of battle, such as May, Cyrus, and Giovanni.

Special Event 2025
From late April to early May, celebrate a year and a half of Pokémon TCG Pocket with a special event and take on solo battles to obtain promo cards and complete missions to get Zygarde ex, accessories, and more.

Community Week

During the Community Week event in early May, missions will be available where you can trade and share cards to obtain trade hourglasses, special accessories, and other rewards.

Pulsing Aura Emblem Event
From early to mid-May, battle in the Pulsing Aura Emblem Event to earn emblems that you can set on your player profile, and complete missions to earn useful items.

Mega Heracross ex Drop Event
Complete solo battles to earn B series vol. 8 promo packs during the Mega Heracross ex Drop Event in mid- to late May.

Wonder Pick Event
Collect Treecko and Gallade promo cards during a wonder pick event in mid- to late May.

A variety of in-game items will be obtainable using shop tickets acquired by completing missions, including a binder cover and display board themed around Sceptile.

In-game Updates

• New Flair:
  Starting with Pulsing Aura, gold frames will be available as a type of flair for ◆, ◆◆, and ◆◆◆ rarity cards in every series. You can automatically obtain a gold frame if you collect 10 of the same card, and gold frames will be retroactively granted for cards that you already own 10 or more of. If you would like to obtain more gold frames, you can do so by consuming duplicates of a card in Obtain Flair.
