This is interesting... I was playing Puzzle Challenge (the old school GBC game) today during study hall, and in the Will stage, his Jynx still has black skin. If I'm not mistaken, Nintendo was supposed to turn Jynx purple after the whole racism controversy. So did NOA just miss this, or what?
 
The GBC's pallet also sucked, so that could explain why they didn't bother at all during Gen 2.

Although I think the case actually came to light around the beginning of Gen 2... so that would also explain it.
 
Still, I find it ironic that they didn't make any effort to fix it or anything, given that Weatherford lady and the removal of Holiday HiJynx... you'd think they'd want to avoid controversy, and since PPC and PPL came out in 2000...
meh, the games were cult favorites anyway, hardly anyone bought them except hardcore Pokemon and Tetris Attack fans.
