It seems as though iPods are monopolizing the MP3 world right now. So for all of you iPod users out there, what iPod do you use? (Right down to the color and the giga-bytes.)

I personally own a 4th Generation iPod Nano. It's a yellow one, which is such a unique color for an MP3 player, I think. it's only 8 GB, but that is all I'll need, I believe. I'll upgrade if I need more. I really wanted a black iPod Classic originally, but not for the space, but for the look. Yes, rather shallow, I must admit, but the yellow color of the Nano enticed me so much more I found. And at the time, the 8 GB one came with other accessories in a combo deal, so I couldn't pass it up, since it would've ended in the next week. I actually just got it on the 14th, so I haven't had it for very long. It has only 67 songs on it thus far, and has only the three games it came with and no photos or videos, but once I get a computer software compatable with the iTunes that is compatible with my iPod, I'll be able to expand my horizons even further. It really sucks that I only have Windows 2000 Professional with I.E. 6, since anything higher will make my computer run slow. =P I just bought an Apple wall adapter yesterday so that I could charge it in the wall now! =D

So, now that you know my story, I wanna know yours!

It's a hand-me-down from my little sister. She treats everything around her like crap (including me, btw) so it's covered in scratches and grime. I want a more modern one that plays videos, but I'm also saving up money for college, so I guess I'm stuck with this for now.
 
I've got a Black 4th Generation iPod nano, with 8 Gigs.
Nothin' special really.

I would've gotten a Touch, but the touch screens are worse than those of a Nintendo DS,; I mean, have you seen the testing for iPods and iPhones? ._.
 
Well, in what way? Do you mean it's easier to get scratched up or how it's used? I've had my iPod touch since last Christmas and it doesn't have a single scratch on it yet, if that's what you meant. Maybe I'm good at handling it, I dunno. But if you mean the latter, then yeah the touch screen does get irritating to use sometimes.

The battery life is kinda pathetic, but it can be useful to have around because of all the helpful apps and stuff.

I used to own a second generation green iPod Mini. I actually still have it, but the poor bastard's sound got all fucked up just eight months ago. Then I got a fourth generation silver iPod Nano for Passover. It serves me well. <3
 
Me and my sister own\share a shuffle. I don't really like the fact that you have to have playlists and you have to choose the playlist in order to listen to the songs. That's ok if you share with you entire family, but me and my sister have similar interests in music, and if we don't like a song, than we skip it.
 
I have 2 apple products onm the go atm;

I've got a 120GB iPod Classic (I have 25GB of music so I kind of need it) and an 8GB 2G iPhone (that is all but broken, don't get an iPhone kids)
 
I've had several Ipods the last couple of years..and probly will get a new one since my Black, Latest Generation, 120GB Classic has gone poof. T_T
 
^Yeah, the touch screens on the iPod Touch's and the iPhone's suck. =P

5.5 gen 30 gig ipod. Lost it in my moms back car window and i found it almost a year later. I dont use it anymore as i now have a Zune 16. And btw, it still works, it is just scratched (a problem for 1st gen nanos and 5th gen ipods)
