question about event pokes..

So im pretty excited about the upcoming Shiny Gengar/Diancie event coming to the UK.. Gengar is one of my faves.

Incidentally Ive just put together a new team with Gengar in it, and it made me wonder if I might swap in my shiny once ive picked it up- which led me to wonder if there is any rule/pattern to the iv's and natures that come with event pokes? how does it all work?
