I would like to know if it is possible to hack a pokemon to have Arceus's ability and give it a plate to make it the type you want, I got a Charizard that says it hase Arceus's ability through a trade, it is holding a dread plate but it is still fire/flying, anyone know how this works, I herd it was possible to change type this way, but the Charizard says otherwise, so can someone explane?

well first off yes you can give them the ability, but no it will never work... trust me i have tried...

Groudon with Multitype well he is still what hes supposed to be even with a water plate, there is no way to actually make it work...

Well that's a bummer, then giving them Multitype is basicly them having no ability?

all it really does is depending on the type of plate... for example lets say i used Typhlosion, and gave him a water plate, it would raise his defence to water attacks... however so slighty you wont notice any difference what so ever...

Personally i prefer to make legit pokemon with Pokesaves, so that i can use them in tourneys and such without being kicked out. Sure it would be nice to have everything maxed out, but whats the point when you cant enter a tourney because you have a pokemon that is obviously hacked. Nintendo just doesnt ban from one tourney, if you have a hacked pokemon in your party (one with obviously high stats for that pokemon), or it knows moves it cant learn, you are banned until you restart your game.

Oh I don't want to use hacked pokemon in real matches, or have pokemon with maxed stats, I would just like to have pokemon with wrong types or moves, just to have them.
