So I've been HG, and I'm done the story in the game and caught most of the Legendaries (no Entei or Latias).
When I have a Very specific team, my Shiny encounter rate is Literally 1 in 7. Is there something I need to know, or should I just sit back and enjoy the good fortune?

(FYI, 2 full boxes of JUST Shiny Pokemon, mostly below Lv. 10)
 
This doesn't seem to be Bulbapedia-related...

The likelihood of a Pokémon being shiny is always 1/8192 (unless it always shiny or you're using a certain method like Masuda's Method or RNG abuse). You must either be very lucky, exaggerating, or your game is a hack.
 
you know, knowing what this team is would help.
 
That's extremely odd... unless your game is a hack, there's either something you're unintentionally not telling us, or you have extremely good luck.

My guess is that it's the first option.
