As you may or may not know, you can untrain EVs by feeding Pokemon specific berries from DPP. My question is, if you feed a Pokemon a berry and its EVs are set at 100, will it drop the EV to 90? Or will it "cap" at 100, with you being unable to drop it any lower (as an opposite effect of "vitamins")?

Thanks.

In an effort to make this particular forum a little more helpful and a little less pointless, for those seeking an answer regarding my question:

Any berry you give your Pokemon will lower its respective value to 100 from whatever it is, if it is over 100. Any berry fed to the Pokemon thereafter will lower its EV by 10 each time.

Chimchar's Atk EV: 193 Atk
+1 Kelpsey berry = 100 Atk
+1 Kelpsey berry = 90 Atk
+1 Kelpsey berry = 80 Atk
etc.

Any Pokemon with an EV below 100 will simply have its EV lowered by 10, until 0.

Chimchar's Atk: 13 Atk
+1 Kelpsey berry = 3 Atk
+1 Kelpsey berry = 0 Atk
+1 Kelpsey berry = no effect

For future reference, this type of question would've been better suited to the Simple Questions/Simple Answers thread, which is stickied at the top of the section.
