I was re-watching the "Pikachu's Goodbye" episode on YouTube.....and I noticed that when they play the song "Pikachu's Goodbye" it is a different singer than the one on the 2BA Master CD. The singer in the episode does not have that high falsetto voice. Also, the whole song is in a different key.

If you want to know what I am talking about, here is the part of the episode where the song appears:

Why do they switch singers? Which one do you like more?

I am not sure why the singers were changed but I believe the one who sang on the TV show was the person who wrote the song in the first place. The song is in a different key most likely because the singer for the version on the TV show could not sing as high a pitch as the one on the CD.

Wow, I was actually looking for the old request-a-song thread, but this one actually suits my purposes much better.

Do you guys know who the singer is for Misty's Song? I (legally) downloaded it yesterday off of eMusic, but the artist is listed as "Pokemon". Is it true that the singer is Misty's original voice actress?

No, the lead singer in Misty's Song is Yavet Laboy the spelling might be wrong on that name but that is who sang the song. The only songs where Misty's actual VA sang were Winter Is The Coolest Time Of Year, I Keep My Home In My Heart, and Under The Mistletoe.

I knew I spelled it wrong but that is the singer of Misty's Song on the 2BA master CD.
