ok i have been out of the pokemon TCG scene for a whil and i have been wanting to get back in i want to ask does it mattter what cards you can have in a deck like are you allowed to have cards from the old sereis insted of the the new ones cause i want to play my ols school stall deck and i have been reading around that you need to have only card from the new series in decks in tournements ????? im also wanting to know what are the cards that are banned this would help me alot thanks....oh and also can you only have 2 zapdos in a a deck casue ther considerd legendary???????????? some of these rules confuse me so can someone help me out????????????? thanks

Deoxys
Unseen Forces
Delta Species
Legend Maker
Holon Phantom
Crystal Guardians
Every single card from those sets can be used in the Modified (standard tournament) format.
You may use up to 4 of any card in a deck, with the exception of the Star Pokémon (commonly referred to as * cards on forums, also called Shining Pokémon by some old school fans), of which you can only have 1 Star Pokémon in your deck total (So if you've already got a Rayquaza *, you can't also put in an Alakazam *).
