Iris's Axew, Ash's Scraggy and Cilan's Pansage are all confirmed male according to Bulbapedia. Fennel's Munna and Juniper's Archeops are all confirmad female according to Bulbapedia.

My question is: HOW and WHEN (which episode) were these genders confirmed? Could you please clarify me?

Thank you!

I never remember Fennel's Munna's gender being confirmed in the anime. Neither of Fennel's pokemon had their genders confirmed.

To add on to what Taiki said, the Archeops in BW036 was confirmed female because she was unaffected by Iris's Emolga's Attract, which only works on male pokemon (because Emolga is confirmed female).

According to the pedia, Fennel's Munna was featured in a demo of the Dream World site, but it was also nicknamed Dream, which Fennel never called Munna in the anime.

Iris' Emolga is female, and her Attract worked on Axew in Emolga the Irresistible! and Scraggy in Emolga and the New Volt Switch!, confirming their genders in the show.

Axew and Scraggy were also reffered to by Iris as brothers in the episode he hatched.

Iris also named Pansage a gentlemen
