i have 2 nintendo ds lites and both fire red and leaf green versions.. how do i trade between the two?

is there a special cable i don't know about? or do i need to have 2 gameboy advances to trade between them?

I have the exact same thing.

There is no way to link GBA games if they're running on the DS. Sucks, I know....

You need two GBAs. I would have bought two for myself for exactly the reason you're thinking of, but they're still not cheap, like $70 apiece new. I have no idea why that is, but it's very annoying.

yeah i think im gonna check out ebay for some cheap gameboy advances.. probably some of the pawn shops around too for working ones

i want my charizard for emerald version!!!.. emerald's fire pokemon are lame

then trade him to my pearl version when i'm done with that

so far i am up to 5 badges in pearl, just over 23 hours and 94 in my pokedex(would be done but i am waiting for the girlfriend to catch up a bit so we can play together)

emerald i have 7 badges, about 70 in the pokedex and 25 hours in

leaf green i only have the starter pokemon (charmander) but i want all 3 so i can trade all 3 to pearl

anybody else here not a fan of infernape? i need to get myself a kick ass fire type from pearl that i have not stumbled across yet

i've never been a fan of fighting types.. i usually like the combo of having a fire, water, psychic, dark and either ground or bug and electric or grass, depending on my mood

maybe i am just and old school pokemon fan at heart

a friend lent me his red version way back when i think i was either 15 or 16.. i am 24 now.. got me hooked and have played all versions since

as for favorites.. i'd say definately fire and dark are my favorite to use.. cyndiquil and charmander ftw

also a huge fan of sharpedo..mmmmmm
