Quote notifications

I'm pretty sure the fact that you can stack quotes, ie.

Something

Something Else

Something completely irrelevant to Someone

isn't something you guys are going to turn off because I think it's a conscious decision to have on in the first place, would it be possible to edit notification settings for quotes to only notify you if your post is being directly quoted. Seeing as people often don't delete relics in stacked quotes, a lot of the time notifications stack up for conversations you're not really involved in anymore. It may not be possible, but just something that wouldn't be awful.

Or if you can just turn off stack quoting that would be great too. Thanks.

Unfortunately I don't think it is possible to turn off the notifications for the stack quotes but I will look into it.

If not the staff can have a discussion on the merits of stack/nested quoting and revise if its still useful.
