Prologue​

Hello everyone! Thanks for checking out my story. Before I start, I’m going to explain stuff you might need to know.
First off, the main character is a Raccoon...deal with it, this is my fanfic and is based on Kingdom Hearts. Besides, Kingdom Hearts has a mouse for a king so, should it really matter.
Also instead of going to Disney worlds. This Fanfic is going to focus more on video game worlds like Mario and Sonic. Although it won’t have all, it will have ones that I think I can make a good story for it. Also, some worlds will have original story lines, while others will have their old story lines. This also means I will have spoilers to some games.
Now I’m going to start going ahead with the main characters and the world they lived on.

Roy the Raccoon: He’s a light browned colored Raccoon. He was born in Neutral Forest. He wields the keyblade which he named, the Nocturnal Light. Thinking of the Kingdom Key in mind, The handle is brown with two diagonal black stripes. The actually sword part is gold. The keychain has a tree on it.
Time for Roy’s personality. Roy usually is bold, reckless, and stubborn. He does have his nice moment though. He has a little brother named Ray and is the smart one. He also has a friend named Luna Bunny.


Ray The Raccoon: Ray the Raccoon is the little brother of Roy. He is smaller,(as you might imagine since he is his little brother), but smarter. His weapon of choice is the Shield. Ray knows a lot about how to use the shield in a million different ways. His shield is basically goofy’s starter shield. Ray often tells Roy what he should do next and also helps solve puzzles. Ray also knows a lot about enemies. Ray is the nicer one. He is usually apologizing for Roy’s rudeness. Ray doesn’t join Roy’s team at first. You will find out why, and when he does.

Luna Bunny: A friend of Roy’s. She is a white bunny with a black bow in the shape of a bat on her forehead. She has light blue eyes. She’s a tomboy and knows the art of magic. She is fast and can cast magic at a fast pace. She usually helps Roy with her magic and can be as stubborn as Roy. She uses the wizard’s relic as her weapon of choice. She also dose not team up with Roy at the beginning.

Neutral Forest: The Homeland for Roy and the gang. Its a forest with a mixture of black and white roses. The white roses shine the brightest during the day, and at night the dark roses open and look their best. Roy likes to explore around here both day and night to see what adventure he could fine.

The Story: I can’t really tell you that much yet, but I’m going to start with what Roy and gang decide to do. Roy finds an empty research lab deep in the forest and tells Ray his findings. Ray takes a look himself and then begins his own research. A couple days later, some strange enemies,(a.k.a. the Heartless), starts attacking Roy and the gang.

I’m Rating this fanfic Teen, just to be on the safe side. There will be violence, cuts, and slight swearing. I’ll add more stuff to the warning as soon something that seems to need to be added occurs.

Chapter 1
Dive into the Heart​

I feel like I’m falling...where am I? I land on a strange place. Its like a stain glass painting of a man with red hat and a plumber’s uniform, and a weird blue hedgehog. Am I...Dreaming? Just then, a mysterious voice filled the air.

“Welcome, Roy.” spoke the mysterious voice. “If you want to leave just follow my simple instruction.”

“Why should I trust you?” Roy said with slight anger. “How do you a even know my name?”

“All in do time Roy. For now, though.” 3 weapons rise from the ground. “Chose a weapon Roy.”

“Well, I guess I have no choice.” Roy scans all three weapons. In the center, there is a Sword with a Ocean blue handle and a symbol that looked like three triangles on it. It also had a long silver blade. The one on the left is a big, green, turtle shell. Its green on top, has a white outer stripe, a pale underbelly, and an opening for the turtle to get in. The final one, the one on the right, is a strange rod. Its pretty much yellow except for the top where it has a red jewel. Now, what to choose...I pick...Roy then stepped forward towards the middle one. “This one.” Roy reached out and grabbed the mighty sword. In a instance, The floor shattered and with an ear splitting screech, he fell.

Roy then fell on to the next platform...which looked exactly like the first.

“So, Roy, you have chosen your weapon. Well, now that you have, can you defend yourself?”
Just then, a small, strange, black creature with glowing yellow eyes rose from ground and started to attack Roy with its claws. Good thing Roy dodged in time. “Come on Roy, use the weapon!” Roy lifted the sword and sliced through the strange creature till it was reduced to nothing. “Watch out Roy!” shouted the mysterious voice. Three more came in sight of Roy. Roy kept on cutting. One of them jumped on him and scratched him.

“s-s-s-shoot” Roy retaliated by spinning the sword in away that it wiped out all three of them.

“Nicely done Roy. Follow this path.” A stained glass of rainbowish color appears in front of Roy. Roy darted up the path. When he reached the end, he finds yet, the same looking platform. Roy then heads toward a light that is coming from above.”Careful Roy, the closer you get to the light, the greater your shadow becomes.” Said the mysterious voice. Roy turned around and saw his shadow rise from the ground. Not only was his shadow coming out of the ground, but it was becoming a more sphere shape. It then grew horns and now had hands floating away from its body. So, now it looked like a dark sphere with horns and hands with no arms floating by themselves.

“Oh my GOD!” The monster raised its claw then tried to strike Roy. It missed and Roy slashed it with his sword. The monster looked mad now. It kept repeatedly slashing with its claws. Roy got a couples hits in, and so did the monster. The monster was getting tired, and it started to get closer. Just then, Roy’s sword disintegrates into particles. The monster then gets too tired and falls on Roy.”Nooooooooooooo!”


“ROY! WAKE UP!”

“W-what!” Roy said in shock. Roy moved his head around. Was it all a dream?

“Wow, you sure looked like you were in a panic Roy.” said the other Raccoon. “You would’t believe the dream I just had Ray.” Roy then got up. The place he was at was a forest filled with white and black flowers. It was the day time so the white flowers were shining their brightest. “Hey Ray. I’m going exploring again ok.”

“Ok Roy, don’t stay out too long.” Replied Ray. “See ya bro.” And with that Roy ran deeper into the forest. He then met up with his friend Luna the bunny.

“Hey Roy.” said Luna

“Hey Luna, say, have you seen anything good or worth exploring lately.”

“No, but can I come with to help you explore.

“Sure” Roy continued looking around until he saw a strange building.
“What’s that?”

Well it was creative of what you did with the weapons, but what was the rod?

CHAPTER 2
THE KEY​

Roy rushed to the mysterious site along with Luna. When Roy got there he saw all sorts of papers and electronic parts all scattered across the floor.

“Apparently.” Roy spoke out. “These are all research materials.”

“How do you know that Roy?” asked Luna.

“Because it says research in the title.” Roy replied.

Of course. Luna thought. Roy quickly ran out of the place to go tell Ray. “Wait up Roy.” Yelled Luna hoping Roy will hear her.” Luna quickly sprinted towards Roy.

Later at the spot with Ray is...

“RAY!...RAY!” Roy yelled.

“What is it this time Roy?” Ray asked in an annoyed tone. Usually, when Roy acts like this, he is usually either in trouble...or thinks he has found something amazing. Both pretty much get Ray in trouble or just annoyed with Roy. “It better not be you in trouble again.

“Not this time.” Roy began. “I think I have found an old abandon research facility. I need to come and check it out hurry!” Roy quickly sprinted towards the research facility.

“W-Wait Roy!” Ray said in both confusion and wonder. Ray then started dashing after him. Luna was still trying to get to where Ray was. Roy zipped right past her causing her to fall.

“Come on Luna!” Roy began. “There is no time to lie down!” Roy then started sprinting towards the facility again.

“That Roy sure makes me mad sometimes.” Luna stated out loud. Luna then got back up...only to be tripped again by Ray. “Today is just not my day.”

When Roy got there, he saw his brother and friend behind him.

“Ok Roy.” Began Ray. “Whats so big about this place.” Roy quickly handed him all the papers on the floor. Ray snatched the papers out of Roy’s hand to read them. “Intriguing. These are scientific note of the heart. There is something strange about them though. Anyway, I will tell you what else I discover in these notes as I read them.

“I hope you find good information Ray.” spoke Roy. “Come on Luna, lets go.

“Ok.” Luna agreed. Both of them walked out leaving Ray by himself for the time being.

“Time to get started.” Stated Ray. Little did he know, he was being monitored by a creature of the darkness with its yellow eyes...

Its been a couple of days now, and for each of those days, Roy checked on how ray was doing. One night however, he couldn’t sleep. Roy decided to see how ray was coming along with his research. Roy got up and started to walk towards the research facility. It was really windy this night, but the black flowers were still beautiful. He came upon a spot where nether flowers was glowing. It was this big, round, grassy space surrounded by the two colored flowers. When he went to the grassy circle, he found that he was now surrounded, but not by the flowers. He, in fact, was surrounded by the same creatures in his dream.

“There’s no way.” Roy spoke out loud. The strange creatures all jumped onto Roy.

“Don’t give up”. said a mysterious voice. Just then all the flowers, of both colors, started to glow. Then, there was an incredibly bright flash of light. Roy opened his eyes and saw that there was no longer around him, and on him. That, however, was not the only thing Roy found. He felt something in his hand. He then looked at what he was holding. It was a sword...in the shape of a key.

“Use this.” began the mysterious voice. “To defend yourself. Its called a Keyblade.” Roy swung the Keyblade around. Let’s get this show on the road. Roy quickly ran for the research facility slashing the strange creatures along the way. When Roy finally got there he saw his brother and his friend beat up a little bit.

“RAY! LUNA!” Shouted Roy. Ray and Luna both got up and saw Roy.

“ROY!” Shouted both Ray and Luna in unison. Just then, A big blast of darkness caught all three of them. Roy woke up to find he was on a strange floating platform...with his friends nowhere in sight.
“RAY! LUNA!” Shouted Roy again. He looked up to see a giant orb with reddish and blackish colors. However, that wasn’t the only thing he saw. He also saw the bigger creature from his dreams come from the ground. This time Roy knew what to do. He slash the creature in its hand. The creature screech with pain. It retaliated by slashing roy on the arm.

“Fuuuuuuuuuuu...grrrr.” Roy now had cuts on his arm. He slashed the creature three times in his left eye. The creature was now screaming with agonizing pain. It did another scratch attack, but it missed Roy.

“Time to send you packing!” Roy did uppercut slash with his Keyblade to send to the the giant orb in the sky. The Orb got stronger and then pulled Roy into the orb.

“NOOooooo!”

Yep. Its just that Roy and friends don't know that yet so I can't put the name Heartless in the story until he finds out the name.

CHAPTER 3
Heartless in Audacity Town!

My longest one yet. Please enjoy!​

“Ow...Where am I?” Roy said out loud. He opened his eyes and look around. He was in an alleyway looked like any old alleyway you would find in a city...a city? How did I end up in a city? Thought Roy. He got up and looked outside the alleyway.

It was night in the sky I can tell you that. It was filled with people. There was, however, a lot of buildings. This was a huge place. It had a large shopping mall, a casino, a Hotel, police station, Moggle shop, and a restaurant.

“Where to go first?” Roy thought about the first place out of the 6 buildings would he get the most info on the town. “The Hotel!” Roy then sprinted to the Hotel. There he found the hotel manager. The manager had blonde hair and light blue eyes. He was a little bit tall, and medium on the weight. He was wearing a Tuxedo and brown leather shoes.

“Hello Raccoon boy, what can I do for you?” Asked the Manager.

“Well, first off, the name’s Roy, and I was wondering where am I.”

“Nice to meet you Roy.” Said the manager. “My name is Trent, and you in what is know as Audacity town.”

“Audacity town?” Questioned Roy.

“Yep this is where people who have lost there homes go.” Answered Trent.

“Lost there homes?” Roy questioned again.

“If you need more info, try talking to Yang.” Said Trent.

“Thank you!” Roy then ran outside the hotel.

A couple hours later...

“I can’t believe I haven’t found this Yang guy let.” Said Roy out loud. “I wonder where my friend and brother are? Are they ok? What about my home? Those strange creatures.” Speak of the devil. There was those creature he saw back at his home and a new kind. It had a knight’s helmet which hid its face where all you can see are two yellow eyes and a weird looking mouth. It was a Dark blue color and it looked like it was wearing some sort of weird shoes. It also had silver bracelets on each arm which leads to claws with Red finger nails. Lastly, it had a weird black heart with red outlines and an X in the middle. They were surrounding a knocked out guy. “Hold on, I’m coming.”

Roy rushed over to the scene and swung his keyblade knocking one of the creatures wearing a knight helmet into one of the weaker black creature destroying both of them. “Anyone else?” Another knight helmet wearer attacked Roy with a spinning attack. Roy quickly blocked the attack, and then countered with a slash from his keyblade followed by another one knocking him into the air and then final one from above causing it to fall to the ground to be destroyed. When Roy landed, he was scratched by the weaker shadow on the ground. Roy then quickly killed the creature and the last one. The guy finally woke up. He was wearing a black jacket with a white shirt under it. He had black, slightly spiked hair. He had a pale face and brown eyes. He wore Black pants.

“They’re gone?” Asked the mystery man.

“Yep, I saved you.” Replied Roy. Just then more strange creatures show up.

“Heartless!” Said the mystery man.

“So that’s what they were called.” Said Roy.

“This is no place to chat.” Stated the mystery man. He pulled out a sword, and grabbed Roy. He started dashing towards who knows where while slashing through the Heartless. Then, he found a door then opened it and dragged Roy inside. He then turn on a light and sat down. “Excuse me for doing that.” My name is Yang.”

“Finally I find you.” started Roy. “I been looking everywhere for you. I need to ask you some question. Like Wh...”

“But first.” Interrupted Yang. “You need to heal.” He lifted his hand up and said cure. A mystical green energy swirled around Roy until he felt refreshed. Even the scratches were gone.

“Well, thank you, I guess, now lets move back to my questions. Those things are called Heartless correct?”

“That’s right.” Replied Yang. “However, each type of Heartless has its own name, for example, the weaker black heartless are called “Shadows,” and the one that were knight helmets were called “Soldiers.”” He then reached into his pocket and pulled out electronic device. It looked like a black Dsi. “Here, its called the HeartlessPedia. Every time you meet a new Heartless, it stores it into its data. You should already have “Shadows” and “Soldiers” in there.” Roy quickly grabbed the HeartlessPedia and scrolled to find the name Shadow and then tapped on its name. A picture of it was on the bottom while the info was on top.

SHADOWS
One of the weakest and most common Heartless. They also usually are accompanied by other Heartless. It usually goes into a state of immunity by sneaking on the ground then strikes. Wait for the right moment for to attack.

Roy then scrolled to find the name Soldiers.

SOLDIERS
They are very agile foes. They mostly use their legs to do powerful attacks, but they also use there claws too. It is best to guard then perform a counter attack. They are rarely solitude creatures.

“Thanks, this should be helpful.” Said Roy. “Another thing, What happen to my home?”

“Sorry Roy.” Began Yang. “Your world has been...Destroyed.”

“D-D-D-Destroyed!” Roy said in shock.

“Yes Roy.” Began Yang. “Your world was swallowed by the darkness.”

“I can’t believe this.” Roy said. “Wait...how did I end up here and not dead?”

“This place is for people who have lost there home.” Stated Yang. “Some people from there lost worlds end up here.”

“W-wait...Worlds?” Roy questioned.

“That’s right.” Yang answered. “There is more then just you’re home out there.”

“One last question. Do you know where my friends Ray and Luna are?” Asked Roy. Yang shook his head. “Oh.”

Just then, the place rattled.
“What’s going on!?!” asked Roy. He investigated outside. It was happening inside the park. Roy quickly ran to the park along with Yang. He then saw a giant Heartless.

“What is that thing.” Roy and Yang said in unison.

CHAPTER 4
THE SECRETS OF THE KEY​

The Heartless looked like 5 unattached body parts. It was purple for the most part. Its two unattached hands had a yellow stripe at the beginning and and four silver, metal fingers. Its unattached feet just look liked shoes with a yellow stripe at the beginning. Its body was purple with a white stripe and that same heart symbol Roy saw earlier. Lastly, the head looked like a knight’s helmet.

Roy quickly opened up his HeartlessPedia. The device quickly scan the Heartless and the info popped on screen.

GUARD ARMOR
Although its body is unattached, it can still move all body parts freely. It is best to deal with it by first its legs, then its arm. Careful, after that, it starts spinning out of control. Make sure to guard then counter attack quickly.

“I’ll take care of this, you try to save everyone.” said Roy.

“Ok!” Yang agreed. As Yang quickly left, he looked behind him to see Roy whip out his Keyblade. “The Keyblade!” Yang thought that he should look to see how it would go, but he decided that he had to save the innocent lives of everyone here.

The Guard Armor quickly tried to stomped on Roy, but Roy guarded causing it to trip. Roy then quickly slash its feet. The Guard Armor then quickly got up and slashed Roy repeatedly in the face. His face was badly wounded.

“You are going to pay for that.” Roy said. Roy then spun while slashing getting both its left leg and left hand. Roy, however, was now starting to get tired. Roy slashed at the left foot again and it disappeared leaving Hp balls in its place. Roy tried to get them, but he was swatted away before he could get enough. Roy was now extremely exhausted. The Guard Armor is now ready to finish him off. The Guard Armor raises his Left hand. However, before he can slash roy, a shield appears from no where and goes right through it causing it to disappear.

“Don’t tell me you are giving up already Roy.” A familiar voice said. A familiar figure jumps off a building and appears right in front of Roy and turns around to reveal its Ray.

“Hey Bro!” Ray says.

“RAY!” Roy says in relief. The Guard Armor ruins the moment however and tries to slash at Ray, but misses.

“Have this potion Roy!” Ray said. Roy felt a lot better.
“Thank you!” Roy said. “Now lets take care of this Heartless.” Roy quickly jumped then slashed at the right hand while Ray jumped onto his shield while running causing the Shield to cause major damage when it contacted to the Right foot. Roy then landed and spun his keyblade around causing the Right foot to disappear. More Hp balls appeared. Roy and Ray made sure to grab some. Ray then fired his shield at the remaining hand causing it to disappear. The Guard Armor was furious now. It quickly spun around and knocked Roy and Ray around everywhere. They both ended up hitting a wall. Roy then quickly slashed it...but was again knocked away by its spinning attack.

“Do you really want me to waste these potions Roy?” Roy quickly threw Roy a potion causing him to get healed.

“Nah.” Roy said. “I think I finally got it down.” The Guard Armor started its spinning attack again. This time, Roy was ready. He quickly guarded against the attack. The Guard Armor stopped and was now stunned. Roy quickly started slashing multiple times at the Guard Armor causing lots of damage. The Guard quickly spun again causing Roy to get knocked back. The Guard Armor now targeted Ray who blocked it with his shield. Roy and Ray put there weapons together and threw them at the same time. There weapons sliced through the Guard Armor. The Guard Armor fell and a giant heart flew out of it as it disintegrated.

“We did.” Exclaimed both Roy and Ray together. Just then Roy’s keyblade started to glow.

“What the?” A weird symbol in the shape of a Keyhole appeared. The Keyblade forced Roy to point at it and then it shot a beam of light straight through it. A locking sound was heard and then the keyhole disappeared.

“What...just happen?” Asked Roy.

“Looks like I got a lot of explaining to do.” Said Yang as he walked towards Roy and Ray. “Hello Ray, my name is Yang. Anyway, Roy, what you just did was seal the keyhole.

“A key...hole?” Asked Roy.

“Yes a keyhole.” Replied Yang. “You see, Keyholes are pretty much the entryway to plunging the world’s into darkness. If a Heartless, and/or any other one who follows the darkness touches the Keyhole, the world will be plunge into darkness. However, if the keyblade seals the keyhole, then the world shall never be plunged into darkness. I was looking for the the key bearer for a while now, but I guess I already found him.”

“So, what you are saying is that I just sealed the keyhole.” Roy asked.
“Yep.” Yang answered. “Now Roy, I want you to travel over many worlds. I want you to seal all there Keyholes so that they will not overthrown by the darkness.”

“If this means I get to go on a adventure and kick some Heartless butt I’m all for it.”

“Can I come too Roy?” Asked Ray.

“Heck no!” Answered Roy in a strict tone. “You are too young.”

“Well, you owe me!” Began Ray. “For saving your butt.”

“Plus Roy.” Began Yang. “You could always use an extra hand.”

“Fine” Roy agreed. “But wait, How do I get to each world?”

“By using the teleport system.” Answered Yang. These special system I made allows you to travel from place to place and make it to other worlds. Our show you it.”

Yang showed Roy and Ray to the Lab. The Lab was cool. It had all different sorts of computers. Some had research, others had designs, and others were off. Yang led them to an elevator. The elevator led them to a room surrounded by teleporters. Each teleporter had a screen over it. However, the screen didn’t seem to be working right now. Suddenly, Roy’s keyblade pointed at one of the screens. A light from the Keyblade then hit it. The screen, instead of being blank now had a picture of a world where thee was castle on top with great light blue sky and giant mushrooms, and on the bottom half there was a giant castle with lots of lava around it. In front of the world there was text that that read “Mushroom Kingdom.”

“Just as expected!” said Yang suddenly. “You see, I designed this thing to run on the keyblade. Since I don’t know the worlds out there, I designed the teleporters to react every time you seal a Keyhole and return here. The Keyblade will then show you where you are suppose to go next.”

“To recap.” Roy said.” I need to go the next world, find the Keyhole before sometime messes with it, then seal it, return here, then see where to go next. Am I correct.”

“Yep.” Replied Yang. The teleporter then turned on. “Are you ready Roy?”

“Yep.” Answered Roy. “Are you ready Ray?”

“I was born ready!” Replied Ray. With that, both Raccoons jump into the teleporter to who knows where.

End of Chapter 4. Now, it might take awhile for the next one too get here. So please be patient.
