Butch's dub voice is part of an anti-smoking campaign within North America. Except, it probably has the opposite effect, because Butch is so freaking cool and an awesome bad guy that kids will want to smoke just to sound like him. Yeah, that's totally it.
Ash's disease (captainus obviousus) has apparently spread to his companions. Also, the unlikely-sounding but incredibly comorbid condition Captainus Obliviousus (not the L) seems to have affected not only his party, but everyone he's ever been in contact with as well. Unfortunately, it's symptoms seem to include naivete, gullibility, partial blindness, and partial deafness. How else are they ALWAYS fooled by TR just putting on a pair of glasses and a trench coat (etc.)?
Yamato and Kosaburou are clearly allergic to Dr. Namba-- They've been getting increasingly stupider since their first appearance. I mean, they were pretty brilliant in the first few episodes, probably peaking in intelligence in Pikachu Revolts. But then in Oaknapped, ACK! Maybe this is also part of a conspiracy to show that crime doesn't pay: "This is your brain. This is your brain on crime."
Richie is clearly Ash's twin brother, the 'red-haired' son of Giovanni, separated by Ash and Delia shortly after birth. He's also a distant relative of Harry Potter and Monk, which makes him an infallible detective and almost psychic in predicting Team Rocket's next move. Which is actually kind of obvious, it's just that Ash suffers from more severe symptoms of his diseases (see up two).
Cassidy apparently has dissociative identity disorder in the dub: her voice changes dramastically, seemingly in accordance with her appearance and intelligence. i.e. in BCS she has a "normal" voice that's overly perky when she's putting on her act, and is very callous... But then her voice changes in the Lugia episodes and her attitude seems different (the beginning of ditziness?)... and then in Oaknapped she's a total ditz (BCS Cassidy would have known an Impasse was a bad thing) AND her voice is much different. Hm.
Family reunions for Joys and Jennies must be really interesting. My personal theory is that they're all clones of an orginal Joy and Jenny...
Why does Sakaki have no eyebrows?

On a semi-serious note, there really are a lot of indications imo that point towards Yamato/Cassidy having an eating disorder:
-Her weight changes very dramatically between episodes-- in BCS she just looks normal, in PR she's VERY curvy (like 40-20-40, not possible IRL curvy), in FH she looks a bit too skinny/bony, in the Lugia episodes her face looks slightly puffy but she's lost half of her bust and hips. I could go on, but you get the point. (And what??? you think it's just the result of different drawing??? NO, everything must have a meaning!!!11!)
-She's type A, a bit of a control freak, seemingly a perfectionist, competitive around other females, obviously likes to take care of herself (perfect makeup and hair most of the time), and maybe a little bit borderline *points to tag*.
-In the dub (don't know about original) of the Lugia episodes, she requests goldfish crackers for lunch... a common occurrence in eating disorders is to eat baby/kid food.
-declining intelligence/increased ditziness as the series progresses-- need I say more? >_<
-wah, I forgot my other things.

Please add! =) I'm sure I'll have more to add later.
