I have just received the Official Nintendo Magazine's newsletter, which detailed the previously announced 5th November 2010 release date for Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs. However, the article also went on to say that from that date, two Wi-Fi Missions will be active for that game.
The first of said Wi-Fi Missions, called "Deoxys and the Odd Temple" will allow the user to encounter and capture Deoxys using the Wi-Fi Co-operation mode. The other, "Protect the Blue Sphere" involves the Manaphy egg that made the Ranger games famous. After completion, both of them can be sent to a player's Diamond/Pearl/Platinum/HeartGold/SoulSilver.
The forme of the Deoxys, and the attacks it knows depend on the speed of its capture:
- If Deoxys is captured with less than one minute remaining, it will be in its Normal Forme, and know Psycho Boost, Leer, Wrap and Night Shade.
- If Deoxys is captured with 5 minutes or more remaining, it will be in its Attack Forme, and will know Psycho Boost, Meteor Mash, SuperPower and Hyper Beam.
- If Deoxys is captured with between 3 and 5 minutes remaining, it will be in its Defence Forme, and will know Psycho Boost, Detect, Counter and Mirror Coat.
- If Deoxys is captured with between 1 and 3 minutes remaining, it will be in its Speed Forme, and will know Psycho Boost, Swift, Double Team and ExtremeSpeed.
