As you can guess, this is an RP that revolves around ranger school. Before I get into the description of the RP, I want to give an overview of the style of the RP. It will be an academy type RP (you've all been there done that) about half the time. You know standard new dorms, new teachers, new friends, getting into a new school sort of thing. The other half of the RP is going to revolve around rangering, which is going to be done in sort of miniature Dungeons and Dragons style type RP. What I mean by this is that a student (or small party of students) will be getting an assignment out in the real world and it will play out like a quest of sorts, with myself functioning as the DM (dungeon master), laying out the challenge and quest bit by bit, allowing the party to react.


Now for the real introduction of sorts:

The region of Hoenn is known for a lot of different things in the Pokémon world. One of these is that Hoenn is home to perhaps the finest academy for aspiring Pokémon rangers in the entire world. Only the best of the best are accepted to this school because it is specifically designed to mold the finest rangers for the various reasons of the world. Students will be taught training, survival skills, leadership skills among other classes. The academy itself sits off the coast of Lilycove city on a small, secluded archipelago of islands. The facilities are state of the art, no expense being spared on the dorms, classrooms and practice facilities. Simulations of various climates and locations (mountains, deserts, cities etc.) are scattered around the islands for practice and instruction.

The RP will start with every character arriving at the island for the new term in the manner of their choice (boat, plane, Pokémon whatever you wish).

Here is where things get interesting. You can have as few as one, as many as five. Students can't have pseudo-legendaries. There is a reason for the limitation of five: that being that each student will receive a new partner upon arrival (I will be determining this by random number generator). The faculty recognizes that many students feel comfortable with Pokémon that they grew up with, but they believe in giving each student a partner due to Ranger tradition.

History: As this is a ranger school, most of the faculty are current / former rangers. However, this doesn't mean that your teacher has to be a ranger if there is a good reason for the academy to hire a non-ranger. Explain this please (if that is the case)

Pokémon Party: No max (but don't be silly by having some crazy number), psuedo-legends are allowed. In addition, having a companion legendary is allowed. By companion I mean a legend that accompanies the teacher out of free will and has NOT been caught in a Poké ball. Also, this legendary cannot be any of the box mascot legendaries, as well as Mewtwo, Mew, Latios, Latias, Darkrai, Cressalia, Kyurem, Zygarde, Deoxys, Genesect or Arceus. There is a reason for these two subrules.


THE RULES:

No godmodding, tennising, etc.
I am the GM, my word is law. Also White Raven is my co-GM so her word is law too. Any issues with anything, shoot me a PM and we'll talk.
When you're in parties for rangering, try to let everyone keep pace. People have different schedules IRL, so try to be patient
I'd like everyone to post at least once a day. But as I said, everyone has days they can't get online and that's okay. If you're going to be absent for a long period of time just let me know and I'll work with it.

Name: Jonathan 'Jonny' Walker

Description: Jonny stands at just over six feet tall, with ice blue eyes and medium length shaggy beach blond hair. A skilled natural athlete, he is blessed with cut and chiseled muscles that come with an active lifestyle. A surfer, snowboarder and skateboarder, it is rare to find him without a board of some sort with him. The other notable feature of his appearance is a large tattoo on his back up on his shoulder blades of a pair of black wings that hold an elemental symbol (intertwined fire, water and thunder) inside.

Personality: Jonny is a reckless rebel who is constantly after cheap thrills. He is charming and generous however and under his rebellious streak he has a genuinely good heart and a gentle soul. He cares deeply for protecting those (both people and Pokémon) who cannot protect themselves. However, he has no respect for authority and actively does what he can to circumvent it. He believes on doing what he wants, when he wants.

Name: Melody Dessain
Age: 17
Gender: Female

Description: Being from Kalos, Melody is subconsciously fashion-aware, to the point where she has multiple pairs of glasses to mix and match with different outfits, even though her preferred pair of glasses is a pair of black thin rectangle frames. She has long, flowing dark brown hair and a pair of light grey eyes that are accentuated by her glasses. Beyond her striking eyecolor, Melody was blessed with with flawless porcelain skin and a lithe, slender frame that is a stereotype for women from Kalos.

Personality: Melody is quiet and a little shy. It's not because she fears social interaction or doesn't like people, but rather she is a bit self-conscious about her accent (she has a bit of a French accent due to having grown up in the Kalos region). She adores classic literature and it is common to find her sitting under a tree, nose buried in a book. She is also an artist and she carries her sketchbook everywhere. Melody is quite studious and her keen intellect shows itself off in the classroom if she is put on the spot (she rarely will volunteer an answer herself). She has a heart of gold and never has a mean thing to say about anyone.


History: Melody grew up in a quiet household just outside of Lumiose City. Her father worked in the city and her mother ran a small cafe near their house. Melody as an only child was spoiled growing up (especially by her father) but she didn't end up rotten because of it. In fact, she ended up just the opposite, a quiet girl with a heart of gold.

She had always enjoyed reading and learning and she kept mostly to herself growing up. Melody had no interest in going on a journey as a kid, instead preferring to stay at home raising her Pokemon, reading and drawing. Eventually she did desire to see the world and as she enjoyed helping others she decided to become a ranger.

Gender: Female

Description: Jasmine has tan skin, not too dark but not exactly pale, either. Her hair is a rich, dark henna color, matched with aquamarine blue irises. She usually wears an emerald green top, combined with sunset orange jeans and salmon pink running shoes. Her face is rather angular for her age, with somewhat-high cheekbones and a defined jawline.

Personality: Jasmine is a usually laid-back, carefree person who enjoys student life at the Ranger School. She rarely gets angry, and when she does, she tries to keep her cool. Besides that, Jazi is rather outgoing when she's surrounded by her friends. While she's pretty mellow around strangers, Jazi gets rather anxious when she's by herself.

History: Jazi grew up in the trees of Fortree City, a place where she called the canopies of the forest home. She was more fascinated with versatile types, rather than the Flying types everyone else came to know and love. Her father, who wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea of her befriending Pokemon, needed a little coaxing by Jazi's mother before they let her journey around Hoenn a little. Jazi had eventually gotten three presents over the years; a Skarmory, an Axew (from when her father went on a business trip to Unova), and a Charmander (from another business trip of her father's). She was a little bored by the idea of staying home all the time, and decided to travel a few cities over. There, she learned about the Ranger School, and spent a few weeks begging her parents to enroll her. Finally, she got them both to agree (although rather reluctantly) and so she set out to find it.

Name: Cressida "Cress" Rei

Class: Field Moves

Age: 21

Gender: Female

Description: Cress has porcelain skin, matched with hazel eyes and strawberry-blonde hair. Her build is tall and wiry, with lean muscles here and there. She usually wears a maroon red blouse, with dark henna brown pants and black Adidas. She doesn't usually wear a lot of make up, seeing not much use for it anyway.

Personality: Cress is not usually a strict person, more of a mellow and understanding teacher. If someone doesn't get the concept of something, she will do everything she can to help the student learn and grasp the certain concept. Outside of teaching, Cress likes to relax on some days, but most of the time she enjoys mountain biking and hiking.

History: Cress hails from the Kalos region, and also a place where most of her Pokémon came from. When she was younger (around 19), Cress had to travel to the Kanto station and chase Zapdos around the region. She decided not to catch it, though. After conveying her friendship to the Zapdos, it chose to travel with her. And so, she flew back to Kalos on Zapdos' back. The station in Hoenn told her a job as a teacher had opened up in Hoenn, and so she decided to take the job. She is still an active ranger, and tries to do Quests when she can.

Description
Myran is a male of above average height, standing around 6'0". He has short, charcoal black hair and brown eyes. His features include the shades that he normally wears, as well as the Espeon he carries with him. Underneath the clothing he wears is a large scar running across his back.

Personality
Determined to nearly a fault, knowledgeable in small doses. Myran is, while normally quiet, a largely cordial and supportive fellow who sticks to his beliefs and has no issue sharing them. While his opinions have merit due to experience, he can be a bit short-sighted when it comes to detecting flaws in his philosophies, whether they be battle-based or otherwise. His Espeon, due to her clingy nature, prefers to stay outside with him; this has caused issues in many situations. Ferocious in battle, he takes defeat as a personal affront to his pride.

History
Raised by his mother and father, Myran grew into a family of battlers and explorers. The children were "initiated" into the lifestyle through a tradition known as a survival trip. There, they find out the harshness of the world on their own, coming to terms with their weaknesses and working to overcome them. He was shaped largely by this experience, considering that he had failed his. As such, he was made to stay home while his siblings went off on their own journeys. He trained almost endlessly to overcompensate for it with the Torchic he'd received from his mother. Over time, as his party grew, so did his methods; he found himself to be a prodigy when it came to the battlefield, but sought after the experience of an adventurer. Naturally, the Ranger School appealed to him greatly.

Description: This guy has a pretty good height standing at 5'7''. Rather than muscular hes a bit scrawny but has amazing athletic abilities. He has tan skin, and an average physique overall.

Personality: Although Lester is a bit lazy (to the point of always falling asleep in class) he holds a valuable respect for pokemon. He might be stubborn but always has an open mind when presented with logic. He has incredible skills although he almost never uses them, as he likes to stick to the basics and uphold what he has learned from the elders of his island. He might seem dumb at first but, the more he gets into a battle the more he focuses and uses his skills.

History: Lester grew up in a small island with his friend Riolu. The Island has traditions which must not be broken, such as learning from the elders. The elders have supreme authority and taught Lester all he knows. The elders knew Lester had more abilities than the other kids on the island and decided to send him to the school, although they never told him where it was or how to get there. Lester has been traveling for three years and finally found the location thanks to a man, who told him where it was. Lester went through his journey before arriving at the school learning survival and important facts about pokemon from some champions even.

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Description: Peter is tall, well tallish, kind of. He is around 6 foot 2' which I guess compared to several others that isn't really tall at all. He has a dark skin complexion with dark brown eyes and short black hair. He is a natural skilled athlete in terms on anything on land but he is a decent swimmer to a certain extent. He is very quick when it comes to running, not really muscular but like those runners, he just has that sheer power and the right body for it. Peter's body is tall which long legs, short torso and slender limbs. Outfit wise Peter is pretty simple but likes to dress well.

Personality: Peter is a very emotional person. He has a short temper and is pretty uptight. He doesn't really smile much either but he is a fun guy, kind of. Even though he doesn't smile much, he does have a smooth sense of humor. However when he gets angry, he gets angry. Peter is a very hard worker, something ingrained in his blood, his life from a child. His batting style is very gritty and likes to grind it out. He believes that dirty work is the right work. He is kind of a boy scout, doesn't get swayed easily but things happen. He is pretty uptight actually.

History: Peter is one of 3 children that grew up in with his parents in Knot Island. He had a simple childhood where his father and mother worked really hard and stuff. There really wasn't much to do except run around when he was a kid with his siblings. Peter just had a very simple childhood. He wanted to become a ranger because it involved working with Pokemon and the outside lifestyle. It wasn't really a destiny just something he had interest in.

Name: Sabine Weiß (Weiss)

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Description: Sabine is pretty average in height at 5'6" and weight but so damn blessed with beautiful, beautiful, so very beautiful (I think I needed to say it one more time) looks the far as I can see and close as well. She has stunning light golden mahogany brown hair that side parts a classic bob which features graduated layers that are longest at the front. She has dark brown eyes that draw attention to her face and hair. The bob works with her hair because of her facial features that include high cheekbones, somewhat flawless light skin with a little bit of tanning. Her body is pretty stock standard in that she has a good looking body, not thin at all but it gives her the impression of a throw back to the 30's & 40's in terms of classic beauty image of destiny. That works in terms of her fashion as Sabine likes to dress to complement her body rather than dress to impress. Her fashion is dictated by simplicity or complexity determined by the situation at hand. She does not like to wear any jewelry at all. Oh right and she has a classic Unovan accent.

Personality: Sabine is an interesting case. She is very confident in herself, in her appearance, her fashion and is highly intelligent but she is a wild child. On class she is an astute student but off it? She is a wild as in partying, random crazy 'lost your mind' daredevil stuff, no fear at all. She is a flirt but not like a sweet flirt more like a seductive flirt in which she'll fix on a guy and allure him with her beauty and confidence. She is pretty sarcastic as well and warped from her warped history but she's a good person...kind of. Somewhat? She's a handful though. Sabine is a massive handful.


History: Sabine was born when her father had an affair with his secretary and knocked her up. She came from a screwed up family. Her father and mother cheated on each other a lot and only stayed together for image really. Her mother also had an affair with an actor which led to Sabine having a younger sister named Angelika. So anyway her father was lawyer and her mother was a PR consultant. She lived in the lovely town of Castelia City. Then eventually when she was 5 her mother ran off with another actor leaving Angelika with Sabine and her father. Her father remarried to a stage actress who had a nervous breakdown after learning that she couldn't fly, she was crazy anyway. So then her father re-married Sabine's mother but then Sabine's mother ran off again with a Gym Leader from Johto.

Sabine went through so many so called mothers as her original mother never married again and just had affairs, a lot of affairs. Her father managed to stop cheating after his 2nd wife went crazy and the 3rd wife found out about cheating. Then things got even more crazy as his 4th wife died over a heroin addiction and the 5th one went into rehab for alcohol addiction. So he eventually went back to the 3rd wife and had another daughter named Greta. Sabine's 3rd mother decided it would be best for Sabine to go elsewhere like follow her former footsteps in becoming a ranger. So Sabine was forced and then found out that her original mother checked herself into rehab. Dandy.

Age: 17

Description: Maisy has long blond hair that goes down to her back along with some brown highlights in random places, she keeps it straight and makes sure to take a lot of care of it. She stands at 5'8 and has tanned skin from her years of riding Pokemon and being out in the sun. She has clear green eyes that match well with her charming smile as well. She likes to wear jeans or denim shorts a lot, mostly because it's what she got used to as she grew up in her hometown along with boots. She also has great stamina and has strong legs. She also carries a brown cowboy hat that hangs on her back.

Personality: Maisy is very outgoing and courageous, willing to try pretty much anything that comes her way just for the sake of getting the experience. She's also kind of traditional in her ways a lot of the time though which kind of causes her to have trouble accepting new ways to do things sometimes. She likes to take leadership a lot and has good judgement of things, being able to think quick on her feet. She can be a bit lazy when it comes to school work but likes any kind of physical activity as well.

History: Maisy grew up in the outskirts of Slateport with her mom, dad and three younger brothers. Her family owned a small farm and as thus she learned how to deal and take care of Pokemon from an early age. Ever since she was a kid she took up an interest in Pokemon Riding and made sure to train in different kinds, from surfing to flying to riding Rhyhorns. As her skills grew she was able to go and win tournaments and trophies, developing a name for herself around the region.

Then one day while out with the Pokemon she spotted Jack Walker in one of his missions, she wasn't caught up in it but from watching from afar found the idea of becoming a Ranger really interesting and new, maybe even like destiny, a feeling that she hadn't gotten since she had discovered riding as a kid. With that she put her mind on becoming a Ranger and decided to attend the school in order to turn herself into a proper ranger like the one she admires.

Gender: Male
Description: Shikoba is tall at 6’2’’ with olive skin and brown eyes. His hair is black in color and almost always wore in a braid reaching his back. For clothing it varies, but all are traditional to his culture. Most often he wears buckskin clothing with high top moccasins. He always has his medicine bag.
Personality: Shikoba is calm and very caring. For nature that is. He could care less about humans, and doesn’t ever expect much from them. Well at least not non-native humans. He is quite knowledgeable about nature, but when it comes to social life, he is absolutely horrible and sometimes a bit too judgmental or assuming. However if he deems someone worthy, he is a great friend, and loyal, willing to do anything for them. Most of all though he loves reading and learning.

History: Shikoba’s was born into a tribe of natives, losing his parents at a young age. Without any parents he was left to the tribe to raise him. Thus he chose to start learning from the shaman. One day he found a book from a city on the ground, falling in love with it as someone in the tribe who could read it, taught him. This started his love for books and for learning. At ten he began travelling between many tribes throughout the world, learning things from each of them, especially medicine. He would also often collect books to read, giving them to someone once he finished in hopes of inspiring them to read.

When he was seventeen he was on his way back to his tribe for a visit when he found a murkrow in a cage. Immediately he went to help the poor thing, however it was then that hunters came out. Shikoba having no pokémon was unable to do anything, however he was lucky as he was saved by a pokémon ranger. He loved how the woman used a stylus and only temporarily caught the pokémon rather than permanently. The murkrow was in bad condition, so when the ranger tried to take it to a center, he merely shook his head and began healing it himself with natural remedies. After that he talked a bit with the ranger before she said goodbye. He had decided that day to learn more about rangers, and he did, and that lead to his decision to become one. Everyone supported his dream, even the other tribes he had stayed with. The murkrow he had helped stayed with him, becoming his only partner. And thus with his new partner he went on his way to become a ranger.

Name: Luna Hunter

Age: 18

Birthdate: December 17

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Straight. She is a big hopeless romantic as she always dreams of a fairytale romance. However, she knows that stuff like that doesn't exist. She just wants a relationship where she can be happy, and actually have a reason to look forward to her future. She's never had a boyfriend, but would like to have one(she doesn't obsess over it or anything).


Appearance: Luna is around 5’3, and has a petite frame. Her hair is actually dyed a lot, so it isn't one color for long. Currently, it is a dark lavender hue. The natural curl she has makes it appear as if it was “scrunched”. Luna is also heterochromatic. Her left eye is a vibrant green(think a lighter shade of Emerald) while her right eye is baby blue. She also has very, very fair skin (almost ghastly white). She does straighten her hair often though, so fifty percent of the time her hair is straight, and fifty percent of the time it's curly. When her hair is straightened, it falls past the midst of her back. Her body type is a slim, but she's tried to gain weight so she wouldn't look unhealthy. As a result, her body has soft curves and she doesn't look as unhealthy as she used to. She looks more filled out and in proportion. Her face is in a heart shape. She has a fairly decent complexion. She does wear make-up, but it's usually at a minimum. Average days, she wears foundation powder, black eyeliner and a pink lipgloss. When it comes to formal events, she'll wear mascara and eye shadow as well. She has a rather sweet, innocence about her.

She usually wears a lime green t-shirt with a black lightning bolt across the front. Mostly, she wears a golden necklace with a heart-shaped locket on it. It doesn't have any pictures in it yet, but she hopes one day she can put pictures in it. She also wears dark wash blue jeans, and wears black sandals. . While she keeps her dark jeans a consant factor in her wardrobe, she has multiple tops that are every color imaginable (varying from a pale pink top all the way to a bumble bee yellow). She does have different pairs of shoes as well. A pair of white tennis shoes, neon colored converse sneakers, black high tops, netural colored dressy sandals, etc. When it comes to formal wear, she will always go with a dress. One of her favorite dresses is a red, knee-length bubble dress that is strapless and has a black sash that wraps around her stomach area. She also has red heels, black heels, or silver dress sandals to wear with it. Her hair would be curled with a one inch barrel of a curling iron. She has a LBD(little black dress) that is in a bandage style, and a few other dresses. Her fashion sense appears to be punk/scene, but she adds her own twists to it. At night, she usually dresses in her nighttime lingerie consisting of black lace, red lace, and sometimes, bright pink lace lingerie.

Personality: Luna is a quiet, shy, anti-social girl at first glance. She doesn't have any friends where she’s living at, so she can only rely on herself. Her father has raised her to have high expectations and morals. In all reality though, her standards aren’t that high but her morals are embedded into her core. She plans to do her best to stick with them at all times. Due to her father’s strict ways, she keeps up this shy, snobbish exterior. She plans on breaking free of it once she’s away from her father. Her real personality is a more humble, gentle type. She is somewhat shy when you first meet her, she’ll quickly come out of her shell and be sociable. She isn’t a ‘party girl’ or anything of the sort, but she is up for a good adventure or two. Of course, her studies come first, and she refuses to let anything else come second. Her love for writing has filled up some of the gaps of depression that she feels, but there are still skeletons that Luna refuses to let anyone know about. Not even her father knows of these skeletons. Her IQ is around 100, and her expertise is English and writing. She hopes to one day become an author, and write of her adventures, that she plans to go on, with her Pokemon. She doesn't swear much, but she will in times of extreme happiness/joy/excitement, or in times of depression and high stress. Since she has a higher IQ, she has a hard time focusing in class. However, she's eager to always learn more. When it comes to subjects such as mathematics, she just can't seem to grasp it and constantly needs to be shown how to do it. When it comes to English, writing, poetry, art, etc. she is always thirsting to learn more. Her mind is always wandering (creatively) and she uses these vessels in order to get her creativity out of her brain. When it comes to homework, she's a big procrastinator unless it's an assignment that she would enjoy doing. Nonetheless, she always gets her assignments turned in on time. Since she was so sheltered, she has no experience of dealing with people her age, especially guys. She would be nervous, and shy if she developed a crush on a guy. Eventually, she would probably open up to people and show her real side: More outgoing, flirty(without realizing it), and all while keeping most of her innocent side. She's never really had human friends. Due to that, she doesn't exactly know how to act in social situations, and deeming her "socially awkward". In times of stress and anxiety, she tends to get really agitated and cries a lot. However, she only cries when no one is around and she's alone. Other than that, she doesn't tend to cry much. Of course, if there was a death or tragic event, she would cry. If she got rejected by a guy, she may possibly cry(this has yet to be proven). She is usually calm, but has a temper. Certain things drive her over the edge, and when she gets mad, she usually goes into a yelling match. She doesn't do anything drastic like throw things or break mirrors. After her meltdown, she ends up crying.

Back story: Luna Rose Hunter was born on December 17th, in the Pastoria City hospital. She weighed around 7 pounds, and 6 ounces. Overall, a cute little baby. Her father couldn’t have been more happy and proud of her. However, her mother didn’t seem too thrilled with the arrival of Luna. It wasn’t until the age of six that Luna learned of her mother’s hate towards her.

One September day, her mother packed her things and left both Luna and her father. No visible reasons as to why she left, but a letter to Luna’s father made it evident that the six year old was one of the main reasons she left. That letter exposed all of this built-up jealousy towards the little girl. The letter also mentioned that her mother wanted to get back into the “modeling” industry, as it was called. In all reality, it was more of her wanting to post risqué photos on the internet to try and get famous. The only reason her mother stopped to begin with was that she had gotten pregnant, and had to marry Luna’s father. She figured the time was right to leave and continue living her life without any baggage. The letter had crushed Luna’s father, and left an impact on Luna’s life.

After that, Luna’s father packed up and moved the two to Eterna City, where he hoped they could begin a new life; a new life without the horrid memories of what happened. For the next four years, Luna’s father kept her home schooled and became a really strict parent. Some of the restrictions she was faced with seemed kind of ludicrous. Only 30 minutes of TV per day, no video games, no outdoor activities, no socialization with the other children, and her father put her into a ritual that she followed every single day. Her father did this as a way of protecting his daughter from the outside world. He worried her caring, gentle nature would cause her to get hurt, both physically and mentally. The last thing he wanted was his daughter suffering the same fate that he did when his ex-wife walked out on him. He thought this would be all it took for him to stay happy and to keep Luna safe from harm. However, when Luna started puberty, her father saw that he was going to have to make some changes. Changes were definitely made.

Life seemed 'okay' until she hit the ripe age of thirteen. The depressive side of puberty began taking over. At night, she would often cry herself to sleep because she constantly had nightmares of her mother coming back and murdering her. This sleep cycle became routine for two months before her father took her to a psychiatrist. The Psychiatrist diagnosed Luna with manic depression. It was suggested that Luna either have more interaction with Pokemon or go to a therapist. Her father didn’t want Luna to be swayed by a therapist, so he simply agreed to get her involved with Pokemon more. At night, after everyone was asleep, he would take Luna to the Eterna Forest where she could play with some of the friendlier Pokemon. Luna had befriended a Murkrow, Misdreavus, Wurmple, Dustox, and Buneary. For months, she continued to play with them every night she could. However, these friendships didn’t last long.

One night, Luna went into the forest to visit her friends when she saw them being captured by a traveling trainer. She tried to stop the trainer, only to realize that she couldn’t get them back, no matter how hard she tried. Her heart was broken. After that night, she hasn’t set foot anywhere near the Eterna Forest.

A year later, Luna had been focusing more on her studies, and developed a new passion for writing and poetry. While she never really wrote Poetry for herself, the poems she did as school assignments were incredible. Same went with her short stories. Her father couldn’t believe how intelligent his daughter was in the subject of creative writing. Of course, Luna did well in her art, history, and science classes as well. Like her father, Luna’s weak subject was math. That didn’t stop her from her real mission: To be a Pokemon trainer. Her father was repulsed at the idea, and suggested that she continued her studies. She felt destroyed. All she wanted in life was to prove herself and her father that she could achieve her dreams of being a Pokemon trainer, all while pursuing a career of being an author. When she found out about Pokemon Rangers, she decided that it was time to break free of her past and pursue a new future with Pokemon and finally living her life.

Others: Luna loves to draw, sing, and write. She does have manic depression, an anxiety disorder, and a mild case of Asperger's Syndrome. She's bringing her Cell Phone, Laptop, a fuzzy purple blanket, and a stuffed Seel Plush that she slept with when she was a baby. She's also bringing her MP3 player, and it has over 200 songs on it. Mostly songs that inspire creativity and bring out her hopeless romantic side. She does have allergies, but mostly to smoke, dust, dust mites, and heavily perfumed scents. Strong cologne also makes her somewhat queasy as the smell is sometimes too strong. She has an abnormal fear of needles, and has a very low pain tolerance. Her favorite dish is Chicken Parmesan, and she loves soda. She has a notebook that she lists all of the qualities that she wants in a boyfriend.

Description: Nagato has long red hair that reaches his waist and light blue wolf like eyes. He is pale despite the amount of sun he gets and is quite tall at 6’4’’ with a thinner figure. His clothing ranges from simple to extravagant.
Personality: Nagato seems aloof and simple most of the time. He is quite knowledgeable and usually can be seen with a smile on his face. If someone pisses him off, he won’t really say it to their face, instead he will give a fake smile and well the language is his head that many would be glad is not being said aloud. He is always open to helping his students, and enjoys talking to others about just anything. He is also always willing to try something new, within reason. He will often avoid talking of himself.

(Physical): She has a height of 6'03", sun-kissed blonde hair that she keeps in a ponytail, pale skin, a 32C, long-shaped face, broad shouldered, has a muscular build but nothing too specialized, covers her left eye with eye-patch with a jagged scar running down her left cheek, with her remaining eye being dark brown in color.


(Clothing): She mainly wears a white version of a runner’s outfit with black sneakers with a black long-sleeved shirt that has many forms of fruit symbols on it, but she has different outfits appropriate for the exercises she pulls her students through.


She also has black eye-patches marked with different emblems on it, taking on the form of a sunflower seed, a pinecone, a walnut, an acorn, a muskmelon, a pineapple, a strawberry, a orange, a banana bunch of 3, a bunch of grapes, a watermelon, a mango, a durian, a kiwi, a lemon, a pair of cherries, a peach, a cantaloupe, a dragonfruit, a metallic orange, a circle of various fruits, a red bunch of grapes wreathed in green fire, a sakura blossom, a red rose, a dandelion flower, a red tulip, a sliced blood orange dripping blood, a golden apple, a silver apple, a black apple, a dark red apple, and a circle with a half moon design. The creepy part is that the more spherically-shaped emblems seem to "move" much like how a normal eye would.


Personality: Touko is a stern-minded instructor who does everything to help her students excel, and help push their physical boundaries. She’s not heartless in any sort of the manner, she does have a soft side, it’s just few have ever get to see it in full. She does have a humorous side, mainly dry with sardonic quips.
History: Touko was born in a traditional family where “might make right” and a “stern tree makes a most formidable opponent to even the forces of winter”. Raised in this cold environment, Touko prospered, trained herself to become a formidable warrior in her own right and to raise her Pokémon to follow suit. Because of passing down her training regimen to her Pokémon, Touko became soon became known as a formidable trainer by 16, facing any opponent without fear, touring the world to show her cold finesse at 14.

During her time in Unova’s Pokémon League Tournament, she suffered a horrifying accident that robbed her of her beloved Scyther, Murakumo’s right blade-arm and her left eye. Despite this gruesome accident with facing a Mega Metagross, Touko pleaded with all her might to continue the match, and almost died from the blood loss despite her close-call victory.


Now missing an eye, Touko stepped down to train herself to compensate for her lost eye. Destiny seemed to grace Touko’s fortune, as she found herself in charge of helping the impressible youths as their fitness instructor.

Appearance: She stands around 5'6, with long, curled ruby hair, porcelain skin, brown eyes and pale lips. She has a rather nice body for a young woman, but she does try to dress modestly in front of her students. Most of her outfits are different colored blouses with dark colored, knee-length pencil skirts. Outside of class, that's a different story. She can dress provocatively, but only for someone she truly loved. She doesn't have a really outgoing sense of style.

Name: Thomas Benneth
Age: 17
Gender: Unicorn Male

Description: Thomas stands at around 6'0", with short, spiked black hair and tanned skin. Though his build is slightly thinner, he is obviously physically fit, showing a fair bit of toning in his muscles. His usually attire consists of tank-tops and cargo pants, with simple sneakers, with a jacket for colder days.

Personality: In a single sentence? Thomas is an arrogant prick. Like many arrogant pricks, Thomas is very aware of his good looks, and often-times thinks of himself as the perfect example of a man, the envy of every lady's eye, at least in his own mind. Thomas considers himself talented in many fields, and unfortunately... he's partially correct.

Thomas loves to excel at whatever he does, if only for the ability to brag about how good he is. He considers his worldly achievements to define him, and thus puts his highest effort into his tasks. Though his personality is in no shortage of flaws, at the very least, he's good at what he does, and refuses to give up if it means showing off his skill. He tries to remain calm at all times, only ever losing his cool when he's humiliated. As such, he avoids such displays as much as possible.

To sum it all up, the plus side is that Thomas is good-looking and very talented... the bad side is he knows it, and he's not afraid to rub it in your face.

History: Thomas grew up in a relatively wealthy family, going only to the best private schools and generally living in the lap of luxury. Whatever he wanted, he got it, whether it was an exotic Pokemon pet, the newest technology, or whatever else he desired. In school, he easily fit in amongst the popular clique, which only further cemented his egoism.

As a child, he excelled in physical activities, and was the star soccer player at his school, earning many victories for his team, the Sinnoh Staraptors. Long story short, he was a top student, a star sports player, and was simultaneously envied and admired by his peers. There seemed to be nothing that he couldn't do.

Even though he excelled in sports, Thomas had a certain interest in Pokemon. Though battling was appealing, he found being a Ranger more in line with his goals. Being able to travel the world with his Pokemon, while helping people? He was sold. Of course, the 'helping people' part was only appealing to his self-centered narcissism, desiring to be world-famous and known for his daring exploits. As soon as he was ready, he set off for the Lilycove Ranger Academy. It was practically his destiny, or so he felt.

Name: Evelyn Baker
Class: P.E.
Age: 28
Gender: Female

Description: Evelyn is a slightly taller than average, around 5'11". She has shoulder-length blonde hair, tied in a ponytail behind her. She prefers comfortable clothes that she can move around in easily, sticking generally to t-shirts and shorts. Since the majority of her time is spent outside, she is often seen with a pair of sunglasses over her eyes.

Personality: Evelyn takes no nonsense from anyone, least of all her own students. She's seen firsthand the dangers that accompany Rangering, and is dedicated to preparing her student for those dangers. She can come across as cruel, demanding steep goals from her classes and being extremely strict in her policies. Most students find her unpopular, but those that survive her training regiments found themselves better off for it every time.

Though she seems indifferent at first glance, she greatly cares for the well-being of her students. She's harsh, but fair, and she does it to ensure that those who graduate are prepared for the realities of being a ranger. Often-times students are afraid to approach her because of her stern appearance, but she is always ready and able to help her students succeed... if they're willing to take the initiate and show that they want success.

History: Evelyn has been in the ranger lifestyle her entire life. Since she was a little girl, her father enamored her with the tales of his exploits. She would accompany her father on his lesser adventures, and took to heart the lessons he taught. She's been a ranger since she was 16, always putting her all into her work and doing what she could to better her community.

It was when she was 20 years old that she took part in a botched mission gone wrong. A forest fire had started due to careless campers, and her team was sent in to contain the situation. Unfortunately, her team underestimated the strength of the fire, and overestimated their own abilities, and the fire soon spread out of control. Veteran teams had to be called in, and eventually the fire was contained, but not before causing incredible damage to the forest, and even injuries to herself and her team. Because of this, she's dedicated herself to doing better, never making a mistake and preparing herself for whatever the world threw at her. The failure could have been avoided if she had been more prepared, in her mind. She's dedicated herself to not making mistakes like that again, and demands perfection of both her students and herself.
