Rate Ash's water type pokemon

I guess I'd stick with your list. Buizel may be my favorite pokemon out of those on the list, but it hasn't technically proven itself yet.. so I guess we'll have to wait until after the Sinnoh league.

They're all good, although Buizel hasn't been doing much lately and I didn't see much of Corphish.
But as for the others, both Squirtle and Totodile have been quite competent battlers. I just found it a little weird that Krabby evolved into Kingler so early. He never used it much, I don't even remember if he used it in the Indigo Conference. But I do remember that it evolved during the Silver Conference, and he was quite awesome at battling. Too bad Ash didn't use Kingler or Squirtle in the final battles.

Yeah, but it did rather well against Harrison's Sneasel. And you got to love that dance.
But yeah, I'd possibly rank Squirtle and Kinger higher than Totodile.
No, it was the other way round. In The Indigo Conference, Krabby evolved into Kingler by defeating an Exeggutor. In the Silver Conference, Kingler couldn't participate, because it got knocked out by three Voltorb while training.

I think, Kingler is not as strong as the others, because it wasn't used much. The others are quite close together.
You're right, I remember that some Voltorb were rolling down a hill and Kingler saved them but got Thundershocked...
Well, anyway, it still seemed quite strong, considering that it won it's first battle even though it had a type disadvantage, and then evolved immediately after.
My favorites are Squirtle, Corphish, and Buizel. Anyone of them evolved would've been awesome, I'd like to see Ash with an evolved water type. For a while during Hoenn I was hoping Ash with a Crawdaunt. How cool would've that been.

Corphish was really funny, Buizel is really cool, Squirtle was kind of cool, Kingler completly unrememorable. Totodile is better than Kingler only for his funny dance haha. I don it out of favourites rather than strongest, I think that's what this thread is about?

Kingler was good, just not that useful at times..........as for Buizel, that pokemon PWNS >_< .....Squirle, that is the pokemon that make me like water types....well, most of them

But I do think that Buizel could become Ash's greatest water-type. It all depends on how the rest of Sinnoh turns out and poor Tododile. You may have had a cute dance, but it's battling experience in Johto was just plain sad.

Yeah, the only thing Totodile had going for it was its voice and the dancing, but otherwise it got such poor treatment it was ridiculous. I didn't find Totodile funny either, unlike some other people, it was incredibly one-dimensional and they didn't get it right with the humor until Corphish.
Thank god Ash brought Squirtle back for the Johto league, Totodile did so poorly it couldn't even beat Macy's fire Pokemon. Sad.
