This is my Black 2 competitive team. Tell me what you think and if you'd change anything. Any suggestions when raising it in XY? I think it will transfer well with Charizard and Absol's Mega Evolutions.

This does not look like a conpetitive team, and the formatting is wrong. :/

I don't understand! Apparently this thread should have been titled, "How much help do I need to figure out what I'm doing wrong with competitive battling!"

I know about EV's IV's, Natures, Movesets, and I designed this team with those things specifically in mind. What is going on? :\

Unfortunately, there are many problems with this team. I can't actually fix it without changing the team almost completely as there is almost nothing I can work with. I can list the problems here:

*Absol is a bad Pokémon
*Swampert is outclassed by other bulky Waters
*Charizard is a bad Pokémon
*Serperior is a bad Pokémon
*Zekrom is banned
*Your natures are far from optimal
*We can't see your EV spreads because the formatting is wrong
*Your items are worthless, competitively
*Your movesets are horrendous

If you could tell me what you were going for with this team, I could help you build a better one. But right now, this just looks like an in-game team that was put into RMT format (badly). However, I don't want you to feel like we're picking on you - everybody is a beginner at some point, and many of us thought that this was what an ideal Pokémon team would look like - Starters, box legends, Dragon-types, and high-power attacks. Unfortunately that is completely wrong. I can help you set up a real, honest-to-goodness competitive team if you work with me, so let's start with your strategy. Do you prefer:

-Bulky Offense, which focuses on slow powerhouses that can take a hit and hit back?
-Hyper Offense, which focuses on speedy bruisers that kill the foe before being killed?
-Stall, which focuses on wearing down the foe with passive damage while taking hits with high Defense and using recovery moves and items to keep healthy?
-Semi-stall, which focuses on using a 3-Pokémon defensive core that would normally be found on a stall team in conjunction with a 3-Pokémon offensive core not out of place on a hyper offense team in order to pivot effectively and control a match's momentum?
-Weather Based, which uses the benefits of Rain, Sun, Sand, or Hail to power through opponents?
-Trick Room, which uses the eponymous move to turn normally laughable Pokémon into speedy powerhouses?

Don't worry, there's nothing wrong with you, the formatting is just a little strange. :)

Let's take your Absol for example.

Absol- Black Glasses
Ability: Super Luck
Nature: Hasty
Level: 100
Stats 264/352/134/179/150/273
Foul Play
Blizzard
Dark Pulse
Thunder

The thing is, stats are irrelevant in this case. All Pokemon will be set to level 50 (or level 100, depending on the game) and the stats will adjust accordingly depending on your EVs. It'd be more beneficial if you could list for us the Pokemon's EVs, then we can get a better grasp of how you've raised this Absol. :)
You can only mega evolve one Pokemon per game, therefore either your Charizard gets no mega evo, or your Absol does not. There are simply better items you can put on your Absol than Black Glasses, one of them being Absolite.
As for natures, you may want to shoot for one that is more beneficial than Hasty, which lowers your defense. While Absol is not known for being the most bulky Pokemon, there are better things for you to lower than defense. In this case, Absol is known for being a physical attacker, it would be smart to lower its special attack. If you want a faster Absol, go for Jolly nature. If you want one with an extra burst of power, go for Adamant.
This brings me to the final point. Absol is known for physical attacking, but it seems like your moveset is full of special moves. The only physical move, Foul Play, does not utilize Absol's own attacking power.

All in all, I would recommend you take a look at several guides available to you, or pick up a mentor to help you with your team. :)

He's in BW, though. And even in XY, one of the two will still be bad while the other gets to MEvolve.

But she mentioned she was tranferring it to XY. While that may be true that the other will still be bad, at least one of them will be able to be utilized well.

My point being that we should fix it in BW in order to ease the transition into XY, otherwise we're essentially building a team from scratch in XY. That being said, that's actually not too bad an idea - these Pokémon can't really be used due to their Natures and lack of egg moves. Carry on. :)

If OP is okay with that, I'm sure building a new team in XY would be easier with a bit of help. Then OP wouldn't have to wait for the Pokebank to come out before being able to use the team in XY :)
