by first team i really just mean the first team that i've planned out and would use for competitive battling. so... yeah, here it is:

any changes i've madea are in bold.

1.Relaxed Swampert w/ leftovers
252 HP / 4 atk / 252 def

-earthquake
-stealth rock
-ice beam
-roar

2. Adamant Kingdra w/ lum berry

24 HP / 252 Att/ 232 Spd

-dragon dance
-outrage
-waterfall
-draco meteor
dragon dance will power up an already powerful outrage, whose confusion is removed by the lum berry. waterfall is another good STAB attack (and i'm not sure what other move to put, but hydro pump seems like it would work)

3. Relaxed Forretress w/ leftovers
252 HP / 80 Att /172 Def

-earthquake
-rapid spin
-spikes
-explosion

this one's supposed to add defensive support with both rapid spin, and spikes or stealth rock. explosion is for emergencys, while gyro ball provides a STAB attack.

4. Careful Spiritomb w/ leftovers (i don't know where i'll get all these leftovers lol)

252 Hp / 64 SDef / 172 ATk

-Will-o-wisp
-Sucker punch
-Pain Split
-Taunt

I'd like this one to be an annoyer with will- o- wisp. Taunt prevents those non- attacknig moves, and garauntees sucker punch will work. Pain split is just in case Spiritomb's plan is failing

5. timid Togekiss w/ leftovers

-encore
-wish
-air slash
-body slam

6. Timid Porygon-Z w/ silk scarf
4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 Sp.Att

-tri attack
-nasty plot
-dark pulse
-ice beam / thunderbolt

this is my special sweeper. tri attack is the basic STAB move, with dark pulse to cover ghost types. nasty plot can be used if espeon didn't suceed in baton passing, while ice beam or thunderbolt adds more type coverage.

by first team i really just mean the first team that i've planned out and would use for competitive battling. so... yeah, here it is:

1. Adamant Rhyperior w/ leftovers
252 HP / 128 att / 128 Def

-Earthquake
-stone edge
-megahorn
-avalanche

so, earthquake and megahorn provide good STAB attacks, while megahorn and avalanche increase type coverage

I'm not really a fan of Rhyperior, and this specific one doesn't look like a lead at all. Maybe if you put a Lum Berry on it, it could be an effective anti-lead. I'd suggest making a more defensive lead and giving him Stealth Rock and Roar over Megahorn and Avalanche.

2. Adamant Kingdra w/ lum berry

24 HP / 252 Att/ 232 Spd

-dragon dance
-outrage
-waterfall
-hydro pump?

dragon dance will power up an already powerful outrage, whose confusion is removed by the lum berry. waterfall is another good STAB attack (and i'm not sure what other move to put, but hydro pump seems like it would work)

Life orb or Expert Belt or Wise Glasses, something that increases power as your item. Draco Meteor > Hydro Pump if you are going adamant.

3. Relaxed Forretress w/ leftovers
252 HP / 80 Att /172 Def

-gyro ball
-rapid spin
-spikes/toxic spikes/ stealth rock (i can't decide on one)
-explosion

this one's supposed to add defensive support with both rapid spin, and spikes or stealth rock. explosion is for emergencys, while gyro ball provides a STAB attack.

If you want an attack on Forretress, Gyro Ball is not typically a good one as it doesn't offer good coverage. Try out Earthquake or Payback and see what works there. If you go with the Rock lead Rhyperior I suggested above, then you should go with Spikes here.

Good.

5. Timid Espeon w/ leftovers
196 HP / 192 SPd / 120 Sdef
-Psychic
-calm mind
-Substitute
-Batom Pass

Espeon's main purpose is to use calm mind and send that boosted Sp.Att to my next pokemon, Porygon- Z. Substitute helps it to survive.

This set just seems really out of place to me. You want to pass Spatk/def boosts to Pory-Z, yet you have Nasty Plot on your Pory-Z anyway. I don't really know what to do with this.

Pretty standard.

So, what do you think? I just realized that with Espeon, i'd probably want another special sweeper at least, so what would you recomend i use (and what should i replace)?

My comments in bold. This team is pretty Infernape weak once Kingdra is out of the way, especially since you have no Sp.Atk EV's in Espeon and you can't outspeed it with your given speed EV's. Taunt Gyarados could also set up on your Spiritomb and sweep through.

if you want to pass special attack I would use togekiss with nasty plot, who can batonpass a +2 boost and is better in OU than espeon

Rhyperior isn't the best Anti-Lead out there, whereas other pokemon like- Machamp@Lum Berry
Adamant
252 HP / 160 Atk / 96 SpD
~ Substitute
~ Encore
~ DynamicPunch
~ Stone Edge

Or
Gallade@ Focus Sash
Adamant
56 HP / 252 Atk / 200 Spe
~ Close Combat
~ Shadow Sneak
~ Taunt
~ Destiny Bond

Those may be better options

thanks for your advice everyone! I am new at this, so the help is definitiely appreciated.

I think instead of Espeon, i may try a togekiss instead.

I'm swapping swampert for rhyperior

I would take out EQ and put Payback on Forretress, or just put Toxic Spikes in there and keep just Explosion. More entry hazards=more pain for the opponent.

Also could you please add what Togekiss does?
