Slightly concerned that your defensive core of Sylveon/Tangrowth shares a Poison weakness, but considering that Poison isn't a common offensive type you should be fine. Just as a warning though a Drapion or whatever could do major damage with Poison Jab hitting Sylveon and Tangrowth hard while Knock Off cripples Porygon-who would otherwise do fine against Poison attacks, and it could Pursuit trap Gengar as even burned it 2HKOes with Knock Off --> Pursuit (or OHKOes if your sash has been broken). Other than things like that it looks good, and I'll admit that Drapion is much less common now that Mega Gengar is banned so it should;t be too much of a worry to you. It just comes to mind for me because I use one xD

Updated OP with Tangrowth's EVs, and Nature. I've been winning with this team, so far.

Just gotta say I love the Mass Effect nicknames. Made me chuckle. I like the team though, no room for a Mega? Its pretty good to run one but if you already talked it over and thought about it, thats fine too.

Porygon2 @ Eviolite
Ability: Trace
EVs: 252 HP / 180 Def / 76 SpD
Bold Nature
~Ice Beam ~Discharge ~Toxic ~Recover

I had my experience w/ Porygon 2, and I would suggest that Defensive is better than Specially Defensive. And Offensive Porygon2 is better than Defensive.
For the moves, you don't need t-wave due to discharge's 30% chance to parahax. Toxic is a better alternative to punish tanks and walls.

Sylveon @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixelate
EVs: 252 HP / 76 SpA / 180 SpD
Modest Nature
~Wish ~Protect ~Heal Bell ~Hyper Voice

This set is more focused on a supportive roll and to destroy dragons. As for the EV spread and Nature, Sylveon's Special Defense is high enough and so, you don't want / need to overkill it.
For the ability, it will die in 1-2 physical attacks so cute charm is pretty useless. Pixelated Hyper Voice on the other hand~!

For tangrowth, a big root may be more use than a rocky helmet, to recover more hp. Rocky helmet is generally only a serious consideration if combined with an ability of the same effect, but I can see why you'd use it. Your call, really.

You could drop some of talonflame's speed EVs to make room for more hp, since your main move will be brave bird and that has priority anyway.

I may be mistaken here, but for eviolite pokemon, isn't it generally better to put more EVs on defences rather than hp, since your defences are boosted, so the higher they are, the higher the boost? Just wondering.

BadAssKoala and I have been working on a team together, and he recommended that I post it here for critique. It's an OU team. So, here it is:

Grunt (Gengar) (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 Def
Timid Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Bomb
- Focus Blast

Solid. Serves its point.

Wrex (Scrafty) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Ice Punch
- Crunch
- Drain Punch

Once again, another solid set. Would be a nice switch to if Gengar ever fall under attack from Starmie or Mega Alakazam. Just be careful with Gardevoir / Mega Gardevoir as she is now part Fairy and Scrafty has an ugly 4x Fairy weakness.

Liara (Sylveon) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Cute Charm
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Def
Calm Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Moonblast
- Toxic

A recommendation I could make is that if you don't find yourself using Toxic too much you could replace it with Psyshock or even Trump Card if you ran a Pixilate set.

Javik (Tangrowth) (M) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Def / 248 HP / 8 SDef
Bold Nature
- Toxic
- Giga Drain
- Leech Seed
- Sleep Powder

In my opinion there are better overall grass Pokemon out there than Tangrowth. A few that come to mind are Venasaur (Mega included), Breloom and Lilligant. There are even some that are better at doing what you seem to want to do such as Prankster Whimsicott or Natural Cure Roserade. I would personally recommend Mega Venusaur seeing how it has better defenses. I would run a Toxic, Giga Drain, Sludge Bomb, and Synthesis set.

Pyjak (Talonflame) (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Brave Bird
- U-turn
- Steel Wing

Standard 4 Attack Choice Talonflame. I still personally prefer LO and Roost over the choice set for Talonflame seeing how its going to be taking a lot of damage from Flare Blitz and Brave Bird.

EDI (Porygon2) @ Eviolite
Ability: Trace
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 32 Def / 224 SDef
Calm Nature
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Thunder Wave
- Recover

While there are better Pokemon you could throw Eviolite on there aren't many better Pokemon that can pull off BoltBeam and have an Eviolite on at the same time. If I were you however I would consider Psychic over Thunder Wave as whatever you're hitting with Thunderbolt would likely already be paralyzed by the point. I would also take a look at Analytic for a different ability. Also I would make Porygon-2 0 Speed if you were to go for Analytic.

So what do you think?

Changes in bold.

Trump Card is terrible why would you even bring that up? Also Discharge > Thuderbolt as it has the 30% Para chance, freeing the TWave slot for either Tri Attack (STAB) or Toxic. Ofc, if you slap Toxic on P2 you can slap Heal Bell on Sylveon to support your team.
