Greninja @ Focus Sash
Ability: protean
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / ( i forget what i gave him the last 4 in)
bashful Nature
- surf
-U turn
- Ice beam
- extrasensory

meant to be the speedy specail sweeper of my team and for switch in on phyic type pokemon as he's dark type and immune to them his frailty being is biggest weakness i've given him a focus sash to insure he gets the one hit he needs to take out the enemy i've been using this greninja since i got him back in october from the seribi trade forums he's been useful and a key player in my team ever since.

slyveon (shiny) @expert belt
ability: cute charm
evs: 252 Satk/252 Hp/4 sp def
modest nature
-Moonblast
-hidden power poison
-clam mind
-shadow ball

slyveon is meant to be my special wall/special sweeper depite the fact that its not ev trained in sp def slyveons sp def is usaully pretty good on its own slyveon also surves the purpose of being my dragon slayer (down with the dragon over lords!) as well not to mention being my new favorite pokemon i made sure its shiny so i didn't get to choose its hidden power via breeding only its color but the hidden power poison makes for a great surprise attack against other fairies. it previously held the life orb but i felt it didn't do well on slyveon so i gave him the expert belt due to his wide type effectiveness, even when slyveon fails to kill the dragons i send him after greninja tends to pick up the slack for him. i've had and sued this slyveon since i hatched it on november 3rd 2013

kanggaskahn @mega stone
ability: scrappy
evs: 252 atk/252 hp/4def
adamant nature
-crunch
-power up punch
-Ariel ace
-earth quake

kangaskhan is meant to be my phyiscal sweeper and my op mega demon, even without the mega stone this kasgashan has helped me win several battles due to the amount of type coverage i give kasgaskahn, kangashan is also meant to help my chandalure and vice verse due to their immuinites to the others weakness i am however contemplating replacing it with mega garchomp for competive battles though because kasngaskahn is banned.

chandalure @ quick claw
ability: infiltrator
evs: 252 atk/252 speed/4 hp
modest nature
-will-o-wisp
-flamethrower
-minimize
-shadow ball

chandalure is my special sweeper as well but also serves 3 other purposes, his ghost typing gives him an immunity to fighting and normal type attacks, this works well with my ferrothorn and kasngaskhan who are both weak to fighting if they're in danger chandalure makes for a good switch in for ferrothorn escappliy as his fire typing keeps him safe from other fire type attacks that might hit ferrothorn. he's also meant to bring mega mewtwo down to his knees but i have several replies to physics besides just chandalure.

ferrothorn @left overs
ability: iron barbs
evs: 252 in atk/252 in hp
brave nature
-power whip
-curse
-gyro ball
-protect

ferrothorn is my physical wall only having two weaknesses which is covered nicely by chandalure. he's also meant to deal with the common water ground types commonly used to combat elect types and to make quick work of fairies when slyveons hidden power poison fails, he also serves the purpose of taking care of slyveons weaknesses as he is immune to poisen and can take a good steel type attack without even coming close to the yellow, he alsos does a great job in covering greninjas grass type weakness but greninja tends to outspeed and freeze them to death anyway. as fairies tend to be specially defensive ferrothons physical gyro ball makes quick work of them, even when not fighting fairies ferrothorn has managed to surprise me and take out enemies or nearly take them out with gyro ball alone.

ampharos @life orb
ability: static
evs: 252 in sp atk/252 in sp def/ 4 in hp
modest nature
-thunder bolt
-signal beam
-focus blast
-dragon pulse

just to have an elect type on the team

my team tries to cover type advantages to the fullest

slyveon takes care of dragons but is weak to poisen and steel ferrothorn takes care of both but ferrothorn is weak to fighting and fire chandalure takes care of both but is weak to water and ground greninja can take both and retaliate quickly knocking out either type but is weak to grass and elect it can take out any grass type but just in case i can switch back into ferrothorn, for elect types amphoros can take an elect type attack and greninja can take out amporoses weaknesses

granted i don't have any set ups i still feel my team to be decent as i've won many battles with them

I noticed your team has a lot of weird move-sets and items. For sylveon I'd recommend leftovers and Wish/Protect/Moon Blast/Toxic. Chandalure should be using choice scarf or choice specs with Fire Blast/Shadow Ball/HP Fighting/Energy Ball.
Having a mega kanga on your team will piss a ton of people off so I'd advise swapping him with Scrafty or Infernape. Ferrothorn should be running leech seed instead of curse. Finally Ampharos should never be using a life orb he is far to slow for a sweep with LO. The order if item usefulness is Ampharosite>Leftovers>Light Clay.

thanks for the advice is there anything else i should change about my team?

You could adjust the natures to timid/modest for greninja, calm for sylveon, and relaxed for ferrothorn,

Chandelure definitely needs to have Minimize switched with Energy Ball. Energy Ball will give Chandelure a fighting chance when going against water types. I think that Sylveon should be running something along the lines of Hidden Power Fire as well just to give it something to fight the Steel types with. Ampharos should have Thunder over Thunderbolt and Greninja should be running Dark Pulse to help utilize its Dark type. I'd say replace U-Turn with it considering that Greninja really isn't going to be in the battle for too long as its defenses are 72/67/71, basically average defenses. Your team seems almost perfect to be transformed into a Rain team in all honesty. Hopefully I was able to help you out some.

EDIT : And also like AA says it would help getting Ampharos into Mega. Would give Dragon Pulse a boost and make it a little more bulky

It really does i guess, but i have no idea how i'd make it work, i can't really pick slyveons hidden power anymore as its shiny and i prefer to keep it like that. but who would i teach rain dance?

Try to find a Hidden Ability Poliwag and use Politoed. I'll even give you a set.

Politoed @ Damp Rock
Drizzle
Bold
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Scald
Rain Dance
Hypnosis
Perish Song / U-Turn

Basically a Gen 6 update of its Gen 5 Bulky set. It just replaces the item with a Damp Rock to extend the length of Drizzle and Rain Dance to 8 full turns. Rain Dance is on there if you choose to keep Politoed on the field. Scald is there for the Burns when you're facing strong Physical attackers. Hypnosis forces the switch much like Perish Song then U-Turn is there if you choose to get the hell out of dodge before stuff goes down and you want to preserve Politoed.

>use Dark Pulse because it's STAB
>Protean

Hmmm...? U-Turn is a fantastic option on Greninja, actually, but Extrasensory... isn't. HP Fire, HP Grass, Spikes, and Dark Pulse are all better than Extrasensory. Also you should be running Volt Switch over Signal Beam on Ampharos, as it is bulky and slow enough to act as a fantastic pivot - going second with Volt Switch lets you bring in a frail sweeper without taking a hit.

Extrasensory does not give notable coverage. I mean I guess it hits MVenusaur but that's about it. Ice Beam nabs Breloom and Assault Vest Conkeldurr can regain what little damage you do to him when he OHKOes you with Drain Punch, so it's just a waste of a moveslot tbh. As for MKangaskhan, your team needs a strong physical attacker, so something like Assault Vest Cokeldurr, Life Orb Mienshao, Bisharp, Krookodile, Excadrill (who can remove entry hazards, supporting your team), Scizor, etc would work.
