Trait: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Double Hit
- Fake Out
- U-turn
- Taunt
Pretty standard Ambipom lead. Fakeout for a free hit, Taunt to stop weather and stealth rock Double Hit for STAB and to break subs and U-turn to scout and escape.

Weezing (F) @ Muscle Band
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 128 Atk / 252 Def / 124 SAtk
Lax Nature (+Def, -SDef)
- Will-O-Wisp
- Explosion
- Sludge Bomb
- Thunderbolt
Defensive wall. WOW to make my defence even higher, Sludge Bomb for STAB, Thunderbolt for coverage, and Explosion to go out with a bang.

Clefable (F) @ Icicle Plate
Trait: Magic Guard
EVs: 148 HP / 100 Spd / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Ice Beam

Double screens to help protect my sweepers Ice Beam to counter dragons and wish to recover the other members of my team.

Feraligatr (M) @ Liechi Berry
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Ice Punch
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Aqua Tail
Dragon Dancing sweeper. Ice Punch for Venasaur and other grass types that are abundant in UU. Earthquake to take out Electric types and Aqua Tail for STAB. I tried to get Aqua Jet but Pokemon Online said it was illegal.

Butterfree (F) @ Insect Plate
Trait: Compoundeyes
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Bug Buzz
- Sleep Powder
- Psychic
- Roost
Sleep Powder is really the only thing this is good for. Roost to get rid of risidual damage Psychic for coverage, and Bug Buzz for STAB.

Houndoom (M) @ White Herb
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Nasty Plot
- Flamethrower
- Overheat
- Dark Pulse
Special sweeper. Flamethrower when I don't need Overheat, Nasty Plot to make me stronger, and Dark Pulse for secondry STAB.

Any help would be greatly apreciated.

My main criticisms are basic fundamentals. Before anything else, you need ideal hold items. Weezing needs Black Sludge, Clefable Leftovers, and Houndoom Life Orb. Weezing also should not be Lax; run Bold, or if you don't want Explosion's power to go down, Relaxed.

Aqua Jet is illegal with DD, that's why PO didn't let you use it. Swords Dance is faster and easier with Gatr, and if you have rocks, it will nab a few OHKOs on faster things. Sure, you will lose to all UU grass types, but Gatr shouldn't stay in on them. You can still run DD if you want though.

You might want to run Flamethrower instead of Thunderbolt on Weezing. It's more useful against Venusaur given it's your best check to it. A counter if it's SD and fails to run Return.

As for Butterfree, you should replace it with something that can run rocks. It's extremely fragile with bad stats, and you yourself mentioned rocks can be bad.

more comprehensive rate probably coming later

Changes/Critique in bold.

Ambipom (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Double Hit
- Fake Out
- U-turn
- Taunt
Actually, this is a pretty Standard Ambipom lead. Maybe consider Sash over Life Orb, but if you like the power more, feel free. Both items have their pros and cons.

Weezing (F) @ Payapa Berry
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 128 Atk / 252 Def / 124 SAtk
Relaxed (+Def, -Speed)
- Will-O-Wisp
- Explosion
- Sludge Bomb
- Flamethrower
What is Muscle Band doing besides making Explosion a bit more powerful? It seems like this set gets walled by any RestTalking Steel Type. Or even Magneton, especially because you're running a -Sp.Def Nature. Weezing isn't shooting to out speed anything, so run -Speed, and since it really isn't a Stall Set, it doesn't need Black Sludge, so go with Payapa Berry to help stay in the game after a Psychic Type attack. Also, try Flamethrower over Thunderbolt. Better coverage.

Also, does anyone find it funny that the nature I suggested was Relaxed as opposed to Lax? Maybe it's just me. ><

Clefable (F) @ Icicle Plate
Trait: Magic Guard
EVs: 148 HP / 100 Spd / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Seismic Toss
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Wish
Actually, this set probably does a better job doing Dual Screen, Wish, and having an offense. Unfortunately, Altaria with Dragon Dance and Roost will still Wall this set. Honestly, try Seismic Toss. Sure, the 2 Ghosts wall you, but you're also immune to their main offense.

Keep in mind, this set's legality is dependent upon Cleffa in 3rd Gen having Wish as an Egg Move, Clefairy being taught Seismic Toss by a Tutor, and IF the personality ID (or whatever that one number is that determines the outcome of Dual Abilities) corresponds with Magic Guard, and thus changes on evolution to Clefable. Questionable, but I think it's legal.

Feraligatr (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Ice Punch
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Aqua Tail
Honestly, Feraligatr probably wont be surviving between 1-33% HP in order let Leichi activate. Life Orb will definitely increase damage output.

Butterfree (F) @ Wide Lens
Trait: Compoundeyes
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Bug Buzz
- Sleep Powder
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Fire]
Wide Lens makes Sleep Powder almost perfect with Accuracy. Roost won't really help either, considering Butterfree is very weak, and any Rock Support on the opponents side will WRECK Butterfree. HP Fire will help with Steels.

Houndoom (M) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Nasty Plot
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Dark Pulse
Nasty Plot and Overheat will work... strangely. Especially with White Herb. Remember, if your Sp.Atk is +2, and you use Overheat, dragging Sp.Atk to 0, White Herb will NOT activate. It only works going negative. Also, if anything has Intimidate (or if it's Screech+Pursuit Sknutank), it will destroy the White Herb strategy. Hidden Power Grass will help with Waters, Ground, and Rock Types that may try to knock you out. The Sash will help if and only if your opponent never set up Rocks or any Hazards because of Ambipom's Taunt. Definitely doable, but risky.

pretty standard team, but im really iffy on the butterfree because i NEVER found it to be a good pokemon but i will not judge you because of your avatar lol
