looks really good here :) destiny bond will work really well, just remember that people generally know that froslass leads use taunt, so quite often you'll be attacked strait from the off, so just be careful :)

Gengar
Timid
252 Sp. Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
item:Colbur Berry
moves:
Shadow Ball
Hypnosis
Destiny Bond
Focus Blast
-Special Sweeper-Annoyer Hybrid-

fine, but give it a wide lense instead of colbur for both hypnosis and focus blast

Metagross
Adamant
252 Attack 252 Defense 4 Sp. Defense
item:Custap Berry
Moves:
Meteor Mash
Thunder Punch
Explosion
Earthquake
-A physical sweeper that can take hits nicely-

all looks fine here, though i'd give it a life orb, gives it some very useful KO's

Scizor
Adamant
252 Attack 252 Defense 4 HP
item:Life Orb
moves:
Swords Dance
Bullet Punch
Brick Break
X-Scissor
-Swords Dance Sweeper-

yup yup yup all good, though give it u-turn instead of x-scizzor :)

Blissey
Sassy
252 Special Defense 252 HP 4 defense
item:Leftovers
moves:
Softboiled
Ice Beam
Thunder Wave
Toxic
-Special Wall and Double status-

hmmm, there isnt much need to give blissey hp, wack that all on defence. give him 252 Def / 80 SpA / 176 SpD. moveset i'm also a bit worried about, a lot of common pokemon resist ice, and to have it as your only attack is a bit risky :/ at the moment it's good for stalling, but thats about it :/ i'd recomend only one status, thunderwave in my opinion, and giving it both ice beam and another attack, thunderbolt, flamethrower or sysmic toss i think :)

Staraptor
Adamant
252 Attack 252 Speed 4 HP
item:Choice Scarf
moves
Brave Bird
Return
Close Combat
U-Turn
-Revenge Killer?-

looks gooood, not the best attack stat ever, but it'll do, two very useful STAB attacks, just watch out for that recoil, and if you come up against a blissey and your locked on brave bird, switch, as the recoil will devistate you, and you most likely wont KO it and so you'll be statused too.

It seems to play nice unless the opponent has a Stall team...
Likely a fail team... But does anyone have suggestions that will help? :)

overall looks pretty solid :) though if metagross doesnt work for you, consider changing to a mixed sweeper, as if you have a problem with stall teams you could use a wall-breaker

It seems a quite balanced team but I have some suggestions that will probably
help your team. If I were you, I would use a jolly Staraptor holding a Choice
Band. I have tested it out and it works pretty well. Another option is Double Edge, but if you don't want another recoil move, don't use it. Hypnosis is a very unreliable move due to its relatively low accuracy. I'd use Will-o-Wisp, Thunderbolt or Sludge Bomb instead. Personally, I prefer focus sash on Gengar because a timid Alakazam can easily kill it in one hit. Hope this helps.

salamence the staraptor choice band idea is really good :)

hypnosis can be helped with wide lense, but your right it is unreliable so think about the other moves aswell.

for alakazam, he'll just switch to metagross :)

Metal Knight, I have a question for you. Are you going to use this team in Pokemon Battle Revolution on random wi-fi or in casual DS friend battles?

Using it battling people online (usually friends and in tourneys), so this is purely competive. Also I edited my post replacing a pokemon, will an infamous wallbreaker... Infernape. Also Metagross has a custap berry because it is a very CHEAP combo with Explosion when in a bind.

Your Infernape seems useful and I like seeing mixed attackers. I would use life orb instead of expert belt though.

It's nice to know I have a solid team... In truth if item clause did not exist both Gengar AND Froslass would have focus sashes.

OK, why does Metagross have the Custap Berry? I don't think that's legal yet.

wow the custap berry is a great idea for metagross :) and i like your infernape too, though ive always found them a bit fragile

my ape's scarfed, and it's won me more games that i can remember, oh, if it learns mach punch you should put that over fake out i think :)

I agree with jimiinthesky. Mach Punch is a better option although Infernape is fast. Flare Blitz sounds also good. If you are doing double battles, keep
Fake out. It helps.

oh, and u-turn is there to scout for switches, as most of the time, people will switch when they see a scizor, and because of scizor's speed, your not going to be able to kill whatever they bring in if it resists bullet punch

e.g., heatran, infernape, dusknoir(with fire punch/will-o-wisp), lucario, electivire, or any bulky water, you uturn on to them, and you get a free switch in, if you stay in and swords dance, you'll do a tiny ammount of damage with bullet punch, and if you try to use brick break, they'll fry you with a fire move

hence, u-turn over x-scissor :)

Fake out was just filler, but MACH PUNCH could actually serve a purpose. I am running Overheat instead of Flare Blitz so I can hammer things like Skarmory. I could also make the last option Grass Knot to kill bulky waters.

Your original team would get pasted by a few good fire types.
Try getting one or two water or ground types in.

Item clause is not a standard clause, go for it if you want. A lot of people on here don't seem to know what the actual standard rules are xD

Your team is looking better, btw.
