Rate the Pokemon Games!

My current favorite is Fire Red / Leaf Green. Basically your classic Red / Blue but better graphics, more stuff to do, new moves, no bugs. I think I'll like Heart Gold / Soul Silver better when released though. :ksmile:

I suppose my least favorite is Crystal. Although a great game not much different from Gold / Silver besides a few things.

Most challenging Yellow. Of course no game is really all that hard but first time I played Yellow it was hard against Brock. Until I realized a Mankey with Low Kick or Nidoran with Double Kick can take care of rock Pokemon. Also the only version where Gym Leaders, Elite Four and Elite Four Champion actually have high level teams worth fighting IMO. I actually enjoy playing difficult games and without unlimited rare candies / vitamins or using legendaries.

Most Favorite: Platinum by far. The graphics are great, the Pokemon are varied, and the adventure just keeps on going.

Least Favorite: I like them all, just call me a fanboy.

Most Challenging: Ruby/Emerald. This was good though, I don't like games to be too easy.

Favorite: Ruby and Sapphire, followed closely by Emerald (after all, Emerald is a RS enhanced version with better things and almost all features of FRLG).
Runner Ups: FRLG and Platinum.

Dislike: Gold and Silver (though their remakes are more decent). Crystal is a little better.

Most challenging: The in-game story for all versions is fairly easy; Emerald is the most challenging if we count things like the Battle Frontier, getting all the Trainer Card Stars and completing the Pokédex.
