But I can't choose between both dragons. Both are unique and have their good and bad points.

Going with both here, but I'm leaning towards Dialga (because it has Roar of Time and a better design).

Rayquaza. I had a brilliant catching experience with him once. We started battling and he used Fly while I threw an Ultra Ball (my tactic when capturing Legendaries back in the day: Poké Ball SPAM) it, as expected, didn't get captured. The next turn, it was in the air, so I threw another Ultra Ball. AND IT WAS CAUGHT! I died of happiness; was resurrected and saved the game asap.
On top of that, I have fond memories of raping the Elite 4 with a Rayquaza.
I hate Dialga's design. It also has a terrible shiny whereas Rayquaza has an AWESOME one!
