I've been here before, maybe about 10+ years ago, but I don't remember my signon from back then... probably doesn't matter now anyway. I used to have accounts on Serebii and Pokemasters too.
I generally strayed away from the online Pokemon communities for all the people telling me I was a "n00b" or that I "sucked" or that I was "pathetic", etc. I decided to join this one because I kind of miss the community now, and because there were too many 1337ists over on Serebii IRC for me to feel comfortable about rejoining their forum, while Pokemasters I kinda ruled out entirely.
I'm not a big fan of the anime, nor am I a shipper, so you won't have to worry about offending me with whatever ship you support. On the other hand, I'm not a fan of yaoi/yuri either, so... yeah.
I just like to battle. I would like to battle more often, just that I have that ingrained fear of losing all the time. Being told "you suck" so often kinda has its effects.
I'm also an artist and animator, I use Flash to create animations. I would like to say I'm a professional since I have the degree and everything, only I haven't yet been able to get a job doing this. I wouldn't mind taking commissions though, once I'm able to get something set up like through PayPal.
