Just a public service announcement for everyone who didn't catch this:

For a limited amount of time, it is now possible to acquire Mewtwo in Explorers of Time and Celebi in Explorers of Darkness!

But you'd better act fast, though, because the promotion ends... wait. September 1st? That's today!

Whoops. I guess you missed your chance.

I'm a bit bitter about this. For PMD fans, this is pretty much the equivalent of Nintendo finally handing out that Azure Flute for Diamond/Pearl. Yet, nobody knew! I found it completely by chance on a random visit to pokemon.com, and even then, it didn't fully explain how to get them, just that they were available for an entire month up to today. After a bit of flipping through some google searches, I finally found the instructions.

THANKS A LOT, BULBANEWS. And to think that I trusted you to keep me up-to-date, especially since you had previously posted notifications of all the new wondermail codes. Why on earth did you stop at the most important one of all??

(Okay, I'm not that angry, but still, just a bit bummed that I didn't get the memo.)

I don't have those games, so i can't make much of a comment, but 28 August is Satoshi Tajiri's Birthday.

...oh, dammit. D: It's not that big of a deal, but I do kinda wish I could have gotten to do this. At first I was hoping that maybe it included September 1, but yeah, it doesn't. Ah well.

Man, that's too bad. Where I live, there's never any promotional event nearby to get event only Pokémon. I could've finally gotten a Celebi...Oh well, there's certainly going to be other Wifi events like this, anyway.

I feel your pain, Scyther.

Though I understand where you are coming from, maybe you should not blame the Bulbanews staff for not reporting news on a poorly advertised event?

Or rather than ranting to random users about it, take it up to the Bulbanews staff if you feel that strongly about it and perhaps they will give you an explanation.

It didn't even say an entire month, it said "available through September 1st"

That's just one day.

Nah, the article was posted on Augusut 2 and when it said "through September 1" it really meant the last day was August 31.
